I think it's par for the course as far as a teaser goes. Star Wars Episode II had a teaser with just still shots and Darth Vader breathing. WALL-E told us that he was a robot and that Pixar had come up with this idea when they were finishing up Toy Story. I think we'll get a more definitive look when they give us a trailer, possibly this summer.

This definetley resembles the tone and humor of earlier 2-D Dreamworks Animated Films. The idea does look very entertaining like Enchanted and The Princess and the Frog. But I'm still not keen in believing this will return 2-D Animation to it's former glory days. While it was great to catch a glimpse of of how the plot will be projected. But I'm still eager for the Official Trailer to be released.

I like what I'm seeing. I'm pretty sure this movie is going to be more CGI style than hand drawn. Every release I've seen of Rapunzel has her looking more like Elastigirl than Princess Aurora.

I saw a wonderful preview for this movie on my Princess and the Frog DVD. It looks like it is going to be a really good movie. It also looks like it is going to be in the same style as Princess and the Frog. Quite happy about that.

We have a trailer. This is definitely CGI, and it looks beautiful. I'm not sure about the trailer, but it made me laugh in a few places, so we'll see what happens. www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_iuxOX2nfU

Umm......I'm not very keen on what I'm viewing at this moment. Hopefully the trailer was poorly created and edited while the film is of higher quality. At this particular time it's looks better as a rental. I'm really beginning to loose faith there will ever be a third Disney Renaissance.

I love the look of the film. I cannot wait to see that. I'm hearing people say that the story is much better than the trailer indicates, so I hope they're right because this trailer is not going to convince people to see this film. I want to see this movie, but this trailer has lowered my expectations. That is not a good thing.

I liked the trailer, but at the same time...I don't know...there's something about it that doesn't have that Disney feel to it. I can't put my finger on it.

What the heck are they doing with her hair? Really? Really? Meh. I mean they didn't show much, but the hair thing really bugs me. Maybe unnecessarily so, but still just - ugh.

I liked the trailer, but at the same time...I don't know...there's something about it that doesn't have that Disney feel to it. I can't put my finger on it. It feels more a long the lines of Shrek and that's Dream Works. I'm still going to see this in theatres though. I think it's worth a shot. It might be better than the trailer seems to be.

I agree, never judge a book (or anything else) by its cover. Many movies that I thought looked bad surprised me when I did see them. I'm not giving up hope yet! I think the animation looks nice to, so

I think that it looks like a Dreamworks movie. I am not saying its going to be bad, it just doesn't have the Disney magic to it. SilverI myself wouldn't loose faith of there ever being a third renaissance, I am just getting the feeling that now isn't the time

It's only been slightly over ten years. Last time they were in a slump it was almost twenty years, I think. drpepper is right, it can still happen. Besides, they've been getting better. They might not be Renaissance quality, but they're getting better, in my opinion.
