Double post again. (Shrugs shoulders) Anybody know how to request merchandise for Disney? I know little girls will be stampeding over one another for an Elsa or Anna doll. But what I would genuinely love to have is an Elsa porcelain figurine. They used to sell them back in the early 2000's. I have Ariel, Cinderella and Aurora. I'm not bragging when I say they are beautiful. Still in great shape after 16 years. Then they just stopped never to return.

I think that depends on the company that was doing them. I think it was the Bradford Exchange that started selling an Elsa figurine with her using her magic, but I don't know what it's made of. I haven't heard of Disney doing porcelain figures.

I have been searching through the internet to see what types of figurines are available on the market of Elsa. Nothing suits my fancy just yet.

Hi friends! Sorry I'm not gonna go through the 9 pages, but I thought I'd add my two cents in case anyone reads the recent pages and is curious.
I heard a lot about this movie before I was actually able to see it. My mom accidentally kind of gave away some information about the villain so I found the movie probably more predictable than I would have. I love watching this movie, especially with my 3 year old niece who sings and dances along. I find the characters charming, the story sweet, the music fantastic, and the animation not to disappoint. The largest complaint I would have is the plot in general with the time frame and the whole "why would they do that" concept, but it's great entertainment with undoubtedly great ideas that make it enjoyable for any age.

In the event anyone is interested, a Florida judge threw out and completely dismissed the lawsuit against Disney brought by the woman who accused them of using her autobiography for the hit film. The judge ruled that similar themes does not constitute stealing an idea.
I always wondered how the woman had a real live snowman for a friend, but I digress.

For goodness flipping sakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Characters being "relatable" is not a case of stealing. I'm a great deal like Elsa in spirit. So if anything, I'm grateful for Disney writing a film that addresses issues of social anxiety and low self esteem. And then the transition of confidence emerging. Isn't that was what film should be about? Recognizing traits from character you can identify with even if they live in this magical realm?
Evidently this confused woman has not be able to distinguish the difference. I'm just glad to hear the judge did.

I figured it would get thrown out. I just chalk this up to another case of someone trying to make money off of someone else'success.

So, I've been wondering something for awhile now. How much contact did Anna and Elsa have when they where children. I always assumed they saw each other sometimes, at meals, maybe or lessons or holidays or something. But I see a lot of people interpreting things totally differently: That Anna literally never saw Elsa even once after her memories were altered.
To me, their interactions at the party seem a little awkward, but nowhere near strained as they would be if they hadn't seen each other at all in over a decade. Also, it takes Anna years to stop asking Elsa to play. If they weren't seeing each other sometimes, Anna would've given up sooner, I think.
Your thoughts?

I'm with you on them seeing each other on occasion. I firmly believe Elsa didn't stay cooped up in her room all those years (evidenced by the fact that she wasn't in her room the day her parents left). However, I do believe she kept her distance from Anna whenever they were together for something, and for as long as Elsa felt she could control her magic. But never seeing each other once? Considering they essentially live in the same house, that would be pretty much unavoidable. Granted, it's a big house, but still.

Here is an audio of Santino Fontana's audition for Frozen. Enjoy. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7-vDjwautMP.S- I started a thread about Santino if people would like to get to know more about the man who was behind the voice of Disney latest animated fairy-tale villain.
