grr.. I don't see why they don't have the old Winnie the Pooh shows on any more. They are so great, and not as creepy looking. haha

I like the book Winnie the Pooh! And yes I miss the old shows and movie. There was this one show where this panther shows up once in a while stalking this one teenage chick? I can't remember the show!

Lorelei: I have never watched it, I didn't know it was confusing on top of creepy looking!
Joey: your thinking of So Weird. That was a good show, I forgot that was Disney. I really really liked that show

i have no idea, remember in the older show he messed up a word now and then? well in the new one he mispronounces at least one word per sentence, sometimes it is on purpose but usually it isn't.

I haven't seen the computer generated Winnie the Pooh show but I hear it's rather bland. And I confess I'm partial to 2-D animation. I don't know why but it's always been more appealing to my eyes. Aside from that, I miss the original 1990 show terribly! There was something honest and hilarious about it. And I especially couldn't get enough of Tigger! He was over-the-top, but in a positive manner. He was the scene-stealer. Oh how I wish the Company would at least reease the first season on DVD. It was such a lovely show for children and adults with low expectations.

I believe the old Pooh show is on Toon Disney as well. I just miss Christopher Robin. Darby is cute and all...but Pooh is not Pooh unless Christopher Robin is there. A. A. Milne is probably spinning in his grave since they separated Christopher Robin and Pooh.

Wouldn't surprise me!
Next thing ya know they'll make CGI animated Ducktales...or Talespin...it's really a sad state of events what with 2d animation going down the tubes...it's almost maddening about what may happen with the Disney Corporation as a whole! I find that Disney is doing these types of things for all the wrong reasons. If they stil want to maintain their teenage and young adult demographic they will air the old eppisodes more and sort of unify the old and new...granted it doesn't fix the problem, but at least we'd still be satisfied in the fact that they do care about what we think. It's just a small reminder that there are fans of the older generations that want to see these cartoons and such on the air with all of the other......fine.....programming that Disney has to offer!

It's sad when you think about it - they make out it's so hard making 3d animation (which it probably is) but it's so much harder to draw out a whole movie or show and make it look how you want and that's what I love about all the classic Disney things - effort and time was put into it, by a group of people who carried on drawing out all these lovely cartoons.

Joplin- if it is on Toon Disney i can't find it, and believe me i have looked! The new show gets on my nerves more everytime i see it!
Ursula- if i remember right "Quack Pack" was CGI and that was using the Ducktales characters as themselves but older...i think...i haven't watched it in a loooooong time and even so i remember not really liking it

I find it very difficult to find much of anything on Toon Disney that shows the classic Disney characters. I saw the Disney Channel building last Friday and think they should have changed the logo on the building since the logo features Mickey Mouse inside a TV screen, but I have rarely seen Mickey Mouse on the Disney Channel at all recently.
