Lizzie McGuire...old? Boy, do I feel ancient. I can remember back to Walt Disney Presents and Zorro on Vault Disney. That's one part of The Disney Channel I really, really miss. I feel the same way.  I loved those, too. I miss classic Disney shorts, the Mickey Mouse Club, Walt Disney Presents, and all of those old shows. Those were the best! I wish they'd bring them back.  |

I miss shows like Gummi Bears, Rescue Rangers, Ducktales, Mickey Mouse Club, Micky Mouseworks, etc

I miss those, too. Sadly, the majority of those shows went to Toon Disney, which I don't own...

I miss all the old shows like, Boy Meets World, Smart Guy, Lizzie McGuire, etc. I used to watch them all the time n the disney channel used to be ALL I watched but now it's just no fun anymore.

i hate toon disney all the kool shows went ther i miss lizze mcguire like anything i miss chip and dale,the rescuers,mickey mouse club house thats so raven.gummi bears(so sweet were they)

I'm only fourteen, but I've gotten the chance to watch alot of the classic shows, Ducktales, Talespin, I love them, they're alot better than the crap they're showing on the disney channel lately. >>

I miss the days when the channel that bears Walt's name actually aired programs from Disney. I get depressed whenever I look at what's airing on Toon Disney because most of it has very little to do with Disney. Disney wonders why kids don't like Mickey Mouse as much as they used to. Maybe they should actually bother to tune into the Disney Channel. About the only connection to Mickey I ever see on that channel is the mouse ear logo. When the channel launched in the early 80s, you could actually see old Disney short cartoons on it. Now, it's rare when you see a Disney animated short period.

yeah....all of the non-aniamted shows are all over the Disney channel and then Toon Disney shows mostly Jetix.....every now and then they show a good movie on the disney channel, today it is The Carebears Big Wish movie....that isn't even a Disney Movie!!

I do. The shows on nowadays DON'T belong on the Disney channel. I can't even stand to watch them. I miss being able to look forward to watching the Disney channel 3-5 years ago when their shows were actually fun to watch (i.e. Smart Guy, Brotherly Love, Boy Meets World, So Weird, Lizzie McGuire, etc.). I enjoyed them. And I enjoyed watching the Disney channel until they replaced those shows. If only they figure out what we want to watch instead of getting rid of the popular shows to make/debut new ones, then I'm sure it would be worth watching again. But until then, it isn't. Not for me, at least. And I refuse to watch it unless they bring a few of the older shows back.

I do. I loved the old Disney shows. I miss Lizzy Maguire. They ended it just when they had the perfect beginning to a new series. Cuz Kate was becoming nicer and Gordo and Lizzy were becoming a couple. What a crumby place to end a TV Show although Disney always picks the worst places to cancel their shows. Like Phil Of the Future, Phil and Keely finally got together as I always hoped and now they want to cancel it too. How lame is that? And they almost canceled Kim Possible right when Kim and Ron hooked up. Man whats with Disney and cancelling their good shows at the best points. I also Miss Doug. I used to watch that show all the time on Nickolodean and than THEY stopped playing it and I have not seen it since. I have some tapes of Middle School episodes but I like the old ones better. The only thing I liked about the middle school episodes is that Doug and Patty seemed to be getting a little closer. As lame as this may sound I actually also liked some of the old play house disney shows like out of the Box and Katie and Orbie. I remember a really old lineup that included all the best play house Disney shows several years back. I miss those and now they have these lame stupid ones like the Doodlebops and That New Pooh show thats yet to come.  Definetly miss the old stuff. Yeah agreed. Especially because with a lot of their cartoons now they are starting to go Nickolodean on us. Like The Replacements and Short McShort Shorts. Those are all Nickolodeon type shows. Plus I think The Replacements' Animation bares a striking resemblence to that of My Life as a Teenage Robot which is a Nick show. It's disgraceful. |

wow, you guys make me feel old! When i think of old disney shows i think of Ducktales, Rescue Rangers, Talespin, Goof Troop....those shows not Lizzie McGuire....
