I'm going to the Drive-In this weekend to see The Incredible Burt Wonderstone and Oz! Really hoping they do me proud. I know Oz will be fantastic... just a tad bit worried about Burt. Big Steve Carell fan... but I'm afraid this movie will either be a hit or miss. Will let you all know.
Has anyone seen any good movies so far this year?!!
I've went to The Call with Halle Berry and it was excellent! If you've missed it in theatres, you must rent it.

I did see The Call. No disrespect to you Arielle but I disagree 100%. I hated that movie! If I had the ability to see into the future. I would saved my time and money. Now I'll never get it back. I've seen better acting and writing for NCIS. And that's a show I really don't like either.

Oh I will be attending the midnight showing for that one! I honestly cannot wait! Went to the Drive-In. Oz was a total success. Mega awesome hit! The Incredible Burt Wonderstone was okay... not at all what I thought it was going to be. And I really did not care for Jim Carey's performance at all.

Thank you for the trailer BRP!
The Man of Steel trailer only makes more eager to see it. I was never a "Superman" fan but this looks like such a great film. A drama that has action in it. Not the other way around I love what Chris Nolan has done with Batman and brought it back to it's essnce. It looks like he's doing the same here. No more two dimensional storylines for these iconic characters. He once said "Batman needs grounded in reality for the audience to believe in his spirit. To do so with Bruce Wayne is even more crucial. The story will have that epic sensibility but we must make the story contemporary and plausible" This quote popped right in my head when I initially saw the trailer. ClarkKent/Superman has been portrayed too much like a goody-two shoes. We need substance and real conflict for identity. I'm not a Zack Snyder fan either but this looks like a promising film because Chris Nolan doesn't do "money-making blockbusters." His is a film-maker who can do any size scale as long as the story has emotional honesty. This one just happens to have a bigger budget.

I've been excited for this movie, but mostly because Superman is my 2nd favorite comic book character. I was going to see the movie anyways, but this trailer has me really geeked up for it. And having Christopher Nolan produce the movie is a definite plus.
One of the things that made Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy so compelling was that it made Bruce Wayne's story so compelling. While we know what made Bruce begin his quest to become Batman, I think the audience came to root for Batman/Bruce Wayne because of what happened to him instead of because he was the hero.
The trailer makes it look like we'll get a good look inside Clark Kent and what shaped him.

Finally saw the trailers to Thor: The Dark World and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. They look specatular! I despise the agonizing wait.
There is some relief coming. The Great Gatsby is almost here as is Man of Steel. Yay!

Thor: The Dark World looks really good. Catching Fire looks good too, but since I already (sort of) know that story, I'm not in full excitement mood for it just yet.
One week from today, I'll be at my local cineplex waiting to see a sneak preview of Star Trek Into Darkness! While it's my most anticipated film for the year, I do not expect a letdown with the movies still to come.
