wow, it is amazing what my simple comment started By the time this comes out on DVD Elijah will be old enough to sit still through the whole thing, when it comes out in theaters he'll still be too young and squirmy, but he will be seeing it! BRP- that is kind of a scary thought just teasing

I point that out because even very young children are heavily influenced by what they're exposed to. Disney and Star Wars are pretty harmless in the grand scheme of things, but I've seen people who took their two year olds to see films like Saving Private Ryan, probably not even thinking about what they're exposing the child to.
Say WALL-E influences Elijah so that he likes robots. There's nothing wrong with that(and considering that his daddy really likes robots, he'd likely be interested in them anyways). I point out my own experiences mostly as a reminder to people to be careful about what they expose little children to. It can and does have an effect on them as they grow up even when you think it doesn't.

but I've seen people who took their two year olds to see films like Saving Private Ryan OMG! I only saw the first twenty minutes in HIstory class, 11th grade and I almost skipped my usual after school snack. I won't say what exactly was shown that caused this though for the sake of the younger members...and myself. Parent's must be freaking clueless to allow their children to see that movie. Yeah its Disney, Disney is always for children. When Walt himself begun this business he was thinking of children possibly because he himself came from a very poor family and grew up without toys and such like other children. So I don't think you should worry about taking Elijah to WALL.E. I would say the only concern would be if he can sit still for at least an hour and that loudness does not scare him. I know because my kid cousin used to be afraid sometimes not necessarily of the movie but sometimes also of some of the sounds being really loud in the theater. If he can handle all that than I say go for it.

I am not afraid of showing him Disney movies, i doubt that Elijah will be able to sit through a whole movie by June, he will only be 19 months at that point. He'll be seeing and already has seen lots of Disney movies!

HAHAHA, thats funny including Buzz and Woody in the trailer. I am not sure what relevance that has to the movie because him playing with a vacuum doesn't say anything but still very cute.

I think there may be relevance to the film. To this point, the clips shown have portrayed WALL-E as almost childlike. There's an innocence to him that I think is meant to endear audiences to the little roobt. I believe one of the themes to the film may be discovering what your purpose in life is.

People should know that some people consider one line in the trailer to be a spoiler. Personally, I don't think it is since we know very little about the storyline, but depending on how sensitive you are to spoilers, you should know that going in.

What would have been a spoiler in that Woody and Buzz trailer it was just him playing with a vacuum?
....
Oh unless you mean the whole Woody telling Buzz that he saves the world.

Two new trailers are up. The final trailer and a little spot called the vaccuum vignette. This remains my most anticipated film of the year, even ahead of Batman: The Dark Knight and Prince Caspian. www.apple.com/trailers/disney/walle/
