WALL-E is going to be "voiced" by Ben Burtt, the man who provided the famous beeping sounds emanating from none other than R2-D2 in all six Star Wars films. that is all it will take to get my hubby there!

Awesome, Ben Burtt, just another reason to find out more. I honestly don't think much of it, I'm very picky about robots, but the character is so cute so I'm not going to rule it out just yet.

How can anybody? We know nothing about the film as of now the only trailer out is Disney's usual undetailed trailer that they do when the movie has ages before release.

A promotional website for this film went live today. At first glance, it appears to have little to do with the film, but just click on robots and things should become somewhat clearer. www.buynlarge.com/

I know the names for the robots are similar to WALL E's but they don't ever mention the movie so how is it supposed to promote the movie if people don't even know about it?

Spose I shouldnt really base it all on just seeing the one trailer though :/ I can't believe we have to wait a whole year for it still

I think that they are going to reveal more about this movie as we get closer. Pixar tends to reveal little pieces here and there leading up to the release of the film. I like the site because I think it's subtly hinting at the increasing laziness of humanity and letting someone else take care of everything you need.

Here's a synopsis of the movie as revealed at Comic-Con this past weekend. This may help bring the Buy N Large website in to a little bit clearer focus.

Oh thats a cute plot, and I get it Eve, and Wall.E is the Adam figure and they both have to restart the human race, thats a cute little plot for a movie I can't wait.
Yeah Pixar always does that when a movie has a very long time before release they begin with really short undetailed trailers so that they get you wondering and wanting to find out more and thats how they get you interested and led to view it however its also a great way to mislead the viewers because the one they did for Ratatouille really turned me off and made the movie look uninteresting to me but then when they brought out the more detailed commercials I started liking the looks of it.

I know what you mean. I used to wonder about when Pixar's run of making good movies would end because the early previews left me wondering. Now I've reached a point where I just get excited about what the next Pixar film because I can't wait to see what they've come up with now.

I totally agree with you there because all the misleading first trailers all turned out to be good films in the end.
