Toy Story 3 is in production at Pixar. Disney was going to make it, but when Disney acquired Pixar, Pixar took the Toy Story 3 sequel back(thankfully). I believe that TLM 3 was one of the few projects that survived the end of the sequels.
I don't think that sequels will never be made again. However, I do believe that they will now only make a sequel if they have a strong story to tell(see Toy Story 2).

*shrug* I don't know thats just what my best friend's mom read in the newspaper. Newspaper people don't print in the newspaper what they are not sure of do they? I don't know whats going on. there are errors in newspapers all the time, most of them have a page spefically devoted to printing corrections to errors they made in the last edition. I am going to wait for more trailers or the movie itself to make a decision. There just isn't enough confirmed information for me to make a call yet. |

I guess I wouldn't ignite a riot if this film were released but I'd apprecaite a good plot.

The end of most of the sequels has been reported in many different papers and Disney reassigned the head of Toon Studios because they were going in a different direction. |

I guess I wouldn't ignite a riot if this film were released but I'd apprecaite a good plot. Its a Prequal and IMO prequals and midquals never have good plots, they are all unecessary. Although a few midquals are mildly cute such as Bambi 2. |

Maybe we will find out why Ursula was banished. Remember she told Ariel about the parties in the palace before she was banished? Maybe a bit of that will come into this story, that could make it pretty good!

To me it seems Ariel dose'nt know much about Ursula, I mean, If she did why would she have gone to see her? And Ariel would already have known about the Great parties if it was during ariels life time.. So I can't relaly see it explaining that... I do want to know what happened to Ariels mom though  maybe Ariels mom slowly turned into Ursula *dun dun duuun* IT would be interesting to see how they do this.. I doubt I'll like it though  |

That would be crazy. But yeah I agree Ariel would know know Urusla's story because she was so nieve of her in the first film so its doubtful that they will explain that. |

I doubt I'll like it though In the TV series (also a prequel) Ariel met with Ursula several times. In the movie, Ariel at least knows who Ursula is, and it is strongly implied that this is their first meeting, but I can't think of any real proof that indicates one way or the other whether or not they met before. As for the parties, they may not have been within Ariel's lifetime. In H.C. Anderson's story, merfolk live for around 300 years, and Ariel is just 16. It's not unreasonable that Triton and Ursula could be hundreds of years old. |

Ursula's banishment could have been in Ariels lifetime, just before she was old enough to remember it.most people don't remember much before they are 3 or 4 years old.

Possibly, but not necessarily, Ursula was banished and Ariel wasn't supposed to leave the kingdom, so she never should have even met Ursula.
