I've been thinking today, whilst listening to my soundtracks playlist and thought to myself, I wonder why Narsissa didn't have a song : / I mean that's another staple of a Disney film - the villain's song. I mean Susan Sarandon has a fantastic singing voice as shown in Rocky Horror and am sure it can only have grown with her. Hmm....would have been nice

As Briar Rose's Prince once pointed out Narsissa is possibly the first Disney villain to not have a role that almost steals the show. This film revolved more around Giselle so it was not really necessary to give Narsissa a song.

Many of Disney's early films did not feature a villain song, including the three fairy tales that clearly exert the most ifnfluence over Enchanted, so in that sense it's not so unusual that Enchanted did not feature a song for Narissa.

That's also true, I think most of the very early Disney villains did not have a song such as Snow white's Evil Queen and Maleficent. Which may actually be a reason that Narsissa did not have one, because she was based around very early Disney villains who did not have one.

I think you're right, especially because Narissa is so clearly a combination of The Evil Queen and Maleficent.

I can't wait until Enchanted comes out on DVD. I didn't get a chance to see it in the theatre. :/

Enchanted will be realeased sooner then I expected! It will be realeased on DVD and Blue-Ray on March 14th in the U.S. I can't hardly contain myself! It was on my top 10 list for last year. (Which is also quite a complement when you compare to some of the amazing films that came out against it) Even if the extras aren't spectacular, the movie alone could brighten up any rainy day. So I look forward to my those upcoming weeks.

March 14 is a Friday, which is a bit odd for a new release day. Everything I've seen says that March 18 is the release date.

I'm terribly sorry everyone! I accidently mislead some of you with the information I stated earlier. The "Official" release date is March 18th! But the Borders Store where I live is having a special early release for the DVD on March 14th. Although I don't know why. It has been done before though where early releases for certain products can purchased before the rest of the country at the store I go to. Sorry again everybody!

Even though you did mess up the date, its still pretty early. I mean four days do make a difference, but not particulary in this case. I guess I had expected it to come out after Easter but I was wrong and its even sooner
