I can't believe there isn't a thread for this yet... Well I looked through all the others and couldn't see one, heh... Anyway. I finally watched the movie, only took me ages, LOL! I loved it ;D It wasn't what I was expecting though, it was actually rather violent in some parts. But it was good because older people could enjoy it. My favourite character was Violet, hence my new banner I also liked Edna, the super hero suit designer, she was great The animation was really good, especially on the backgrounds - the water looked realistic. Overall, a pretty good movie, and it was $20 well worth spent for the DVD, LOL!

I'd have to agree on the violence. I wasn't expecting to see that much when I saw it for the first time in theatres. I really enjoy watching this movie. I also have to agree that it is more for older kids and it's actually refreshing to see that as most Disney movies are geared towards 4 - 10.

Definitely. That was great. I mean, sure it was a bit violent, but... I still enjoyed it... The music is fantastic as well, I bought the soundtrack and I'm listening to it now

I really liked this movie. My favourite character has to be Jack Jack. He doesn't say much but he is still really cute. I also like Edna. I was really happy and surprised with Jack Jack attack on the DVD. It's really neat to see what he did to the babysitter.

I didn't much care for this film. I didn't even want to see it. But dad wanted to watch it as a family. Could have found a much better film.

I admit that before I saw it, I had reservations, because after seeing Finding Nemo I wasn't too confident that The Incredibles would be any better - but surprisingly I found myself quite engrossed with it, and I'm glad I bought the DVD and soundtrack...

I have always hated the CGI animation and I thought it was too much action for a Disney film. It didn't teach a real moral lesson. I mean, there was a slight one, but not like Disney films used to be. I don't think Walt would have liked it. I could be wrong. But I don't think he would have.

Oh well. I don't really care what he would have thought. The main thing was, I enjoyed it, and I know plenty of other people who did as well *shrug*.
I think the "lesson" was to just be yourself, and not pretend to be something you're not, which in itself is quite important...
But I do agree on the CGI factor - there are too many movies relying on it nowadays. However I think the look worked quite well for this movie, particularly the water and background scenes, they looked almost realistic, which is pretty amazing and takes a heck of a lot of work.
