I agree that the CGI worked well with the film. It couldn't have been done any other way. I just didn't care for the film. It wasn't...Disney. At least in my estimation of what Disney is. Just my opinion, though.

It wasn't Disney because Disney and Pixar are no longer connected... well, not directly anyways. Before they used to be 1 company, Pixar just being a merged division of Disney. However now... with our "great" new overseer of the Disney Empire... they are two seperate companies that buy from eachother. Pixar makes whatever movies it cares for now, Disney buys it at a cost higher then what it costed to make the movie, then pumps it out to millions of theaters for our viewing pleasure to ensure maximum profit.
Technical details aside... I still like this movie, not as a Disney movie, but as just a great action movie.

Yeah, it doesn't really need to have the Disney ties, it's great as a stand alone movie...

I loved The Incredibles. I thought it was a brilliant animated movie with strong story, well placed humor, and characters that people can relate to. It's a Pixar movie through and through, but I believe it's a film that Walt Disney would have been proud of.

It's still not my type of film, though.

hmm... I didn't really like this film... It just didn't appeal to me that much plus the fact that I was really tired when I watched it..

This was an okay movie. I thought it was really cute and all, and the story was great. But, I just thought there were more other Disney movies that are better. The Incredibles wasn't as magical and touching as other Disney movies. It's great as an animated action movie, but as a Disney movie....*shrug*

I haven't watched this movie in ages! I'm really hoping Disney releases this on DVD or Blu Ray sometime soon!

They did last year for a promo for Monsters University. They had a bunch of Pixar movies on sale for $15 dollars. I snagged all of the ones I didn't have!!!!!
But it was a good movie. And it's ending... I always thought there would be a sequel the way they left us hanging.

The Incredibles has been available on blu-ray for a few years now. The blu-ray teaser featuring E is legendary. With a picture so fabulous it will make your entertainment system weep with electronic joy. With sound so fierce it will scare mediocrity away forever. Darling, blu-ray is the new black. . . ray. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwT5HOFcYTYThis film contends for number 2 of my Pixar favorite list with Up. WALL-E is number one, but part of that may be because I got to see it at Pixar a week and a half before the films' release.
