I'm not afraid of them, well if I was within a few feet of one in the wild I would be, but I don't really have a phobia of sharks. I just don't care for them one way or another. They hold no appeal to me. To me they represent destruction, so I lean towards disliking them.

I'm good. College is good. I'm on "break" right now. Kinda. My term ended right before Thanksgiving but Campus is open till the eighteenth and we can take these classes that aren't actual classes. There's no homework or finals or anything. I'm taking one where we read a play a day. We've gone through seven tony award winning shows so far, it's really cool. Especially, because I don't know many plays to begin with.

awesome! It might still be school but it does sound good.
What classes did you take last semester and what are you going to take next semester?

Lexi - I took Calculus, Classical Mythology, Intro to Theatre Arts, First Year Experience, and Theatre Practicum I for Fall Term. For Winter Term I'm taking Techniques of Production, Principles of Physics, Physics Lab, and Speech Communication. During D-Term, which I just finished, I took A Play A Day. During the Spring Term I'm taking Critical Methods in English, Stage Lighting, Philosophy, and First Year Seminar: Fairy Tale, Film, and Fantasy: Meaning Making Through Story. I'm really excited for the last one.
Silver - I'm good. I decided to come home from D-Term and let it become break a week early. So now I'm home. I went out with my friend and saw Princess and the Frog and then ate at Baker's Square. They have the most delicious pies! I'm really curious to know what you think of the movie, Silver, once you see it.

We have trimesters, so I start early and end late. We also have this weird "D-Term" which is between Thanksgiving and Christmas, but it's not mandatory.

Athena - I was in Italy my junior year for a week. I wish I got to visit it in a different setting and with other people, but it was quiet wonderful. I love the Trevi fountain and Florence was one of my favorite places and so was another. I don't remember the name but the square was a circle and help some sort of historical importance. I want to say something about horse races. My all time favorite city was Cremona, home to Stataverri. Sorry that I spelled everything so horrible. Not only do I hope to return to Italy, but to visit dozens of other places in Europe. France, Venice, London, and Ireland are top on my list, but who knows if I ever will or if Venice will still be there by the time I am able. Barkydog - I do enjoy trimesters so far, but the fall is the easy part. Ask me again in the summer, after two terms are squished in to the same amount of time period my fall term and break was placed.

How was your Christmas? Get anything exciting?

My Christmas was good. I was really excited that I got Sweeney Todd, the show is just skin crawling and Tim Burton does a good job translating it onscreen. I also got Mamma Mia and Dead Poets Society. I really recommend Dead Poets Society if you haven't seen it. Two books, Fairest by Gail Carson Levine and Charlie Bone 7 by Jenny Nemmo, both immensely under my reading level, but I love Levine's books and I've been following the Charline Bone series since fifth grade. My favorite though is the Disney Animation Studio Archive Series: Animation book. I just love sketches and this is FILLED with them!

That does sound like a great Christmas. I've never heard of tha book, but it sounds awsome! I might have to look into buying it. Does it show roughdrafts and such of all Disney films or only a certain time-period?

All, it goes from Snow White to The Princess and the Frog. There's even some of the shorts of the "classic Disney" characters, and a couple I've never even heard of.
