I am a Broadway nut. I have collected some of Disney's Broadway soundtracks. I've seen Aida onstage. I have also seen a college performance of Beauty and the Beast. I have each soundtrack save for The Lion King on Broadway.
I thought it would make an interesting poll to see what show is our favorite Disney on Broadway show. I'll have to go with Mary Poppins on this. I could wait for The Little Mermaid, but I decided not to.

First of all, I love the films to begin with! But my personal favorite was The Lion King. This is a visual "masterpiece" in every sense of the word. The performances are top notch. I can't say the actors praises enough for going out there everynight and giving the audience a splendid thrill! The costumes, sets, choreography, and makeup is astonishing. I didn't know such craft could brought to the stage. The music is as entertaining and heartwarming as the film. The score is so exravegant and lush. But the story(which was always my favorite part) has been expanded to an enchanting interpretation that fits perfectly on the stage. This is as the New York Times calls it "A Wonder To Behold". This is a real treat for anyone of any age. Not that the other shows arn't magical but this show was a real privledge and an honor to watch!

I've only ever seen one and that's The Lion King and it was AMAZING. IT was truely the most magical show I think i've ever watched. I really wanted to watch Beauty and The Beast but it's closing.

Yayy for Broadway nuts! I picked Beauty and the Beast. Because...well, it's amazing.
I also have the Aida OBC, and I love it. If they ever go through with the animated movie (which I hope they do sometime!), I hope Heather Headley, Adam Pascal, and Sherie Rene Scott voice their characters.

The lion king without a doubt. I saw it on London's west end. Ive also seen Mary Poppins which was excellent as long as you dont compare to the film, and Ive seen Beauty and the Beast which was a few years ago

The only one I've seen on Broadway is the Beauty and the Beast but I bet The Lion King was probably the best from what I've heard about it. It seems like no Broadway show can top The Lion King sometimes.

I voted for Beauty & The Beast. It was the first ever Broadway show I saw and it was fabulous. The only other I have seen is the Lion King and that was great too.

Since I've seen only The Lion King, I have to vote for it by default. However, I loved it immensely. I'd like to someday see Beauty and the Beast, but as much as I love the movie, I'm not sure if it's pageantry can match The Lion King.
