Just announced and preivewed this film's teaser trailer yesterday. Here is the important information with those unfamilar with the premise. (From Wikipedia)
"An upcoming science fiction, mystery, adventure film co-written and directed by Brad Bird. (The Incredibles and Ratatoulie)"
'Frank (George Clooney) and Casey (Brit Robertson) travel to a place somewhere in time and space known only as Tomorrowland, where their actions affect the world and themselves.'
Release date is set for May 22nd 2015.
Based on the Disney theme parks.
I'm speechless. I really don't know how to word my thoughts. I'm stumped!
Anybody else have an opinion?

I've just viewed a teaser trailer for this film on Facebook and I must say that it captured my interest. I'd like to learn more about this film. This glimpse alone actually gave me the feeling that this young lady was going to 'Meet the Robinsons' lol, especially with the 'Nothing is impossible' theme. This kind of has me intrigued. I can't put my finger on it, but it has some vibe that makes me want to watch it. Could possibly be because it is linked to George Clooney. But one cannot be certain.

Thanks to more insight from Zimbio.com, I have a much better understanding. Altough, I suppose I wasn't operating on all cylinders the day I created this thread. Well everybody has off days. LOL!
This is like a darker and grittier idea on what Alice in Wonderland is. A girl wishes to leave her life behind in favor of adventure and escaping emotional wounds. Only in this story George Clooney's charatcer already knows the grass isn't always greener on the other side. He will attempt to sway her before she throws herself down the rabbit hole. (If you will) The big question is. How does he know?
I sure hope Brit Robertsons's acting skills have improved since I last saw her. She left much to be desired and with the movie evenly riding on her shoulders. Her performance could make a break the film.

What was the last movie she was in, Silver?

I'm not familiar with this actress so I can not judge there. Interesting synopsis though Silver, the trailer didn't really clarify that kind of element to the film. Now I'm that much more interested although the concept is kind of overused. Not only by Alice in Wonderland but by Coraline as well.

Hm, interesting. While the basic concept of a character escaping from the real world to a seemingly idealic fantasy world has been done many times, it is possible to put a fresh spin on it, I think.

What was the last movie she was in, Silver? Most mainstream audiences would be familar with her role in the Stephen King story of Under the Dome on the channel CBS. I remember her (not too fondly) from a Disney Channel movie called Avalon High. Cheap story and insincere acting to the point of making me cringe. I hope she has found herself a real acting coach who pushes her to be artistic. Not a pretty face on camera.

I have not watched either film, so I cannot judge. Either way... I'll take your word and pray she does a better job!

Tomorrowland just might be my second most anticipated film for 2015. And in most years, it would probably be first except for some movie about wars in space and people fighting with laser swords coming out in December.

I did watch the Super Bowl add. Looks like this will be a good film. Although, not my most anticipated of 2015.

Production notes according to Wikipedia. Some of the filming actually took place at Walt Disney World. Whoa!
Mostly it was shot in Vancouver and Surrey British Columbia.

I know that some filming occurred in Disneyland. I don't know if any filming also occurred in Walt Disney World or if someone on Wikipedia confused the two.

Turns out filming occured at both loations.
Brad Bird took a selfie at Disney World in Orlando at the Attraction "Carousel of Progress".
Filming did happen at Disneyland where the "It's a Small World" attraction is.
