As much as I would love to gush about how enthusiastic I am for this. I have to say something far more important. For those who have not seen any trailers and are contemplating on looking them up. Only watch the Teaser Trailer!!!! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THE OFFICIAL TRAILER!!! I can not put enough emphisis on that. I say this because there is a massive spoiler in it. Long story short. Last December. A person who worked at Dreamworks leaked the trailer to the internet when it was supposed to remain in editing mode. It was too far gone to stop it and deny what was shown. So it's stayed that way ever since. But fans can still be surprised. As long as they stay away from message boards and Youtube comments about that "spoiler". If you are one of the unlucky few who has aleady seen the official trailer.I am very sorry. However I ask that you please DO NOT say a word of what you have seen. There are in fact people who still remain in the dark and wish for it to stay that way until June. They would appricate it.

Now that this is finally out in theaters, I can't wait to go see it! I hope you love the sequel as much as I did. To keep it simple for the time being. If you were a fan of the orginal film. I highly recommend you view in the Cinema! For those who found the orginal average or unimpressive. Avoid spending the money.

I saw it about a month ago. I really enjoyed it. Best animated film of the year. I like how they were willing to take a big risk with this story instead of playing it safe. Made for more emotion in the story itself.

BRP- Glad to hear you enjoyed the film. But do you think it has a chance against The Lego Movie come award show season? That film did recieve universal acclaim. Ari- Let's see if you can avoid the "other spoiler" until it's home media release in November. The first time we were both unsucessful at achieving it.

BRP- Glad to hear you enjoyed the film. But do you think it has a chance against The Lego Movie come award show season? That film did recieve universal acclaim. Dragon 2 is a far deeper and emotional film. It's very rare for a sequel to build on the first story and then expand on it, yet Dragon 2 did both. It has complex characters with both strengths and flaws. It is both a heartwarming and heartbreaking story. Many characters are not what they seem. The Lego Movie did a good job entertaining the adults, but it didn't really take you on an emotional journey the way Dragon 2 did. You can argue that the most memorable and complex character in The Lego Movie is Batman. The inevitable sequel will likely be more of the same. What do we build next and what new characters from other franchises show up next? Unless Big Hero 6 proves to be much stronger than its trailers, I think Dragon 2 takes the Oscar. And it won't have to deal with a juggernaut like Toy Story 3 this time. Toy Story 3 deserved its Oscar. In fact my only complaint that year was that Tangled didn't even get nominated.

BRP- I think all of the people who assumed it would be a flop after a slow start in America in June are now eating their words.

I was very surprised at the slow start here in the U.S. It just didn't make sense. Nice to see that a slower than expected start will not destroy a quality film.

That's crazy that it got a slow start in America... Probably because I didn't go see it... Lol
