Are you familar with the Brother Grimm fairy-tales versions of Jack and the Beanstalk, Cinderella and Repunzel?
I ask because that's what the character stories from Into the Woods are somewaht based on. Not the Disney animated interpretations.

No... I remember my Grimms book of fairytale's from when I was younger... But I don't remember specifics. Weren't they darker versions of the Disney ones?

If so, what's your opinion on them as performers?

I am a huge fan... But I honestly do not think I have gotten him to sit down for one comic based movie. He is a huge fan of the Walking Dead, which is comic based. So I think he may come around.
