Since you're a horror movie type of lady. Have you seen the trailer to Crimson Peak yet? If so, what do you think? This is a rarity for me so cherish that I bring this into a coversation willingly.

Glad to hear your life is not dull. How do you feel about the idea of a Maleficent sequel?

The thought intrigues me. But they've already told the story. They better tread the waters carefully and make it good, otherwise I feel they could loose a fan base.

It turns out June is a massive anniversary month for animated films. Without searching on Google or Bing. Can you guess what film celebrates 21 years as a classic tomorrow the 24th? (Don't worry I'll give you the full list after you've taken a whack at it)

Well I know it isn't Lilo and Stitch because we just celebrated that one. Um... Shot in the dark and say Lion King? I remember it came out of the vault last time in June... Probably wrong though.

Should I put in a big shout out for The Lion King's 21st anniversary in it's thread? LOL! So the June anniversary dates for Disney and Pixar films are as follows. Atlantis: The Lost Empire was released on June 15th 2001 Tarzan on June 18th 1999 Toy Story 3 on June 18th 2010 Mulan on June 19th 1998 The Hunchback of Notre Dame on June 21st 1996 Lilo and Stitch on June 21st 2002 Lady and the Tramp on June 22nd 1955 The Rescuers on June 22nd 1977 Brave on June 22nd 2012 Pocahontas on June 23rd 1995 The Lion King on June 24th 1994 Hercules on on June 27th 1997 It's a heck of a month to celebrate Disney and Pixar! The other major month is November. Now onto the real question. What's your opinion on Into the Woods?

Looks like Disney favors June. I knew it was a busy month!
I really enjoyed Into the Woods. I think that Meryl Streep played an awesome Witch/Villainess. Which, she always seems to impress me. But one of my favorite characters was Little Red Riding Hood. Loved her attitude and spunk and her quirky little remarks.
I was disappointed in Johnny Depps portrayal of the Wolf. And in a huge Johnny fan! Maybe I'm just giving him a hard time... Plus I've never seen the actually play.
The musical score was great as well. I was watching the special features and a lot of hard work went into making that music perfect!

June and November seem to generally be the lucky charms for Disney and Pixar. (Summer blockbuster or Oscar candidate) You'll see a lot of action in the movie threads from me. What better way to get people involved in discussion if we remind them of the time these classics came into the world.
That's wonderful to hear you enjoyed it. Meryl is in her depth in any and every character she creates or interprets.
Sorry that Johnny only had a small role. He had worked with the director Gary Marshall previously on Pirates of the Caribbean: Stranger Tides. They probably just wanted to work with one another again. Even if only briefly.
This may or may not have bothered you (it didn't for me personally) but I am curious to see if did.
How did you feel about the actors having a mix of British and American accents?

Totally didn't bother me at all. I completely over looked it.

Despite Sheldon's "shortcomings" on the The Big Bang Theory. What do you think it is about his character people love?
