Oh that is such sad news! And pretty good. Just had our first winter storm this week. 13 inches of snow Monday and an ice storm last night. But no loss of power, so I cannot complain!

Eeek! An ice storm?? Naughty Elsa! Do you think you can talk your hubby into seeing Crimson Peak in the theatre?

Ehhhhh.... Probably not! It generally is rare when I can talk him into a theatrical release!

Has the storm finally passed where you live?

Seems too! Just melting slowly. My yard is covered in snow/ice/slush/mud. Lol!

Yeesh! Be careful walking on that terrain. Hehe!
Did you have a favorite moment when the Oscars aired? If so, what was it?

Helena Bonham Carter. She is funny, quirky... I think she has the potential to be an absolute delight.

Oddly enough I always found Helena in interviews to be incredibly poised and polite. But either way she seems lovely all around. Fairy-tales are constatly being revamped for Hollywood these days. Disney studio or not. What do you hope they contribute (in terms of quality) for future re-imaginings and what do you hope they retain from their orginal sources?

I really don't have an opinion as far as this question goes. Each retelling of a fairy tale is a different story and should be treated as such in regards of how it is done. A director could approach you and myself and tell us to write a screen play for The Three Little Pigs. They will both be different... But both will have the potential to be good. Each individual sees something differently... The perceive a story differently.

So for the upcoming live action version of The Little Mermaid. You would be partial to either a re-imagining (Maleficent style) or a closer script (the upcoming BATB style) adaptation then?

I'm torn!!! On one end, I enjoyed the Maleficent style... I feel that with a live action Little Mermaid, it would be hard to keep true to the animated telling. I'd probably vote for more of the Maleficent style. Shoot... Give us a back story on Ursula!
