Me and my friend are having a debate over a few things. One of these is which version of God Help The Outcasts is better. Personally, I prefer Bette Midler's because I find it extremely soothing and would pick it over Heidi Mollenhauer's any day. But I just want to know what you think. So....what do you think?

I love Bette Midler's version the best. It's longer and the lyrics break my heart, particularly the line:
"God help the outcasts
The tattered, the torn
Seeking an answer
To why they were born
Winds of misfortune
Have blown them about
You made the outcasts
Don't cast them out..."
That song is so incredible. Now I need to listen to it! *digs frantically through playlists*

i agree with all of you ! i love Bett Midlers version, but i do still love the Heidi Mollenhauer version.

Wait, Bette Midler's is the one in the credit's right? Yeah I love her voice I have another one of her songs on my MP4 too its called Some Say Love and I love the extended lyrics in her version.

I voted for Heidi's, she has a beautiful voice! It always makes me feel a little teary eyed. I think that song should be sung with a soft, gentle yet powerful voice and she captures that. Bette Midler's version is a bit gravelly and grating.
