Well... I'm really kind of excited about this movie. A love when Disney creates something original and quits feeding off of previously made movies. Lol! Like you all, I'm a bit concerned about Kristen Bell's singing ability. Great actress... But I really doubt her singing will blow me away. Perhaps I'm wrong. Hopefully I am... Well technically not orginal but I see what you're getting at. I have not read this Fairy Tale so I will view this story fresh. Loving the animation! As others said, hoping the story is emotionally engaging. Yes I want entertainment but if I am not caught up emotionally in the characters's dilema. The story has failed. This must happen since their last FairyTale did not do this for me. Otherwise it will "really" be time to consider writing 100% orginal stories like Pixar. |

And the recent tradition of bad trailers continues. Disney needs to give me a reason to spend the money to see this in theaters because as of right now, I see a weird movie with a strangely shaped snowman and a reindeer who appears to be related to Maximus from Tangled.

Monsters University's first trailer was really vague and left me unsure. As you recall, they didn't even reveal Mike and Sully until later trailers. So perhaps there is hope for a better one later.

So I saw this trailer on the big screen with Monsters University. My opinion of it has not changed, but I noticed that the kids in the audience ate the trailer up. There was a lot of laughter throughout the trailer.
All that said, I just hope the movie is worth watching. A trailer that makes the kids laugh will be meaningless if the movie fails to connect with the general public.

I really hope that Disney has an official trailer attached to the film Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. I think I have waited long enough to see an actual trailer about this piece.
When it comes to animated films, teaser trailers just don't cut it for grabbing my attention.

I would imagine they'll attach a trailer to Thor: The Dark World. I haven't heard anything about Frozen getting a trailer attached to Cloudy 2. I can't seem to find anything online about a release date either. Update: I feel a lot better now. I came across the Japanese trailer for Frozen released in early July. Unlike the weird teaser shown in the USA, this one contains footage from the movie and conveys a real sense of action, adventure, and peril. Unless you speak Japanese, it may not help much, but the Japanese trailer has me intrigued. I think the snowman could be really funny, but he could also be really annoying. Right now, the only reason I plan on seeing this is because a never before released black and white Mickey Mouse short titled "Get A Horse" will be showing before Frozen.
