Some characters did in Beauty and the Beast like Lumiere(sp). Also the movies sounds like it's going to be awesome. This is the first time hearing about it for me, but, you guys already got me pumped for it. ^_^b

I'm not familiar with the original story, but I have high hopes! I wasn't optimistic with either Tangled or Princess and the Frog, but I love them both! Hopefully the music will be memorable with quality that matches the others

I want to get around to researching the original story before this comes out. It is interesting to see how Disney changes it.
I wonder if it will be similar to the way they changed to original little mermaid and make it so vastly different.

It has been officially announced that Johnathan Groff will be playing Kristoff. I love him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean, Ms. Whoo. It's not like Disney has never produced leading characters of color.

And I think it's funny about the American accents Especially Belle, Maurice and Gaston. Though, to be fair, Belle and Maurice could have moved from America.

And I just hope that this movie has a killer villain song. Especially with Idina voicing the villain. I hope that it steers away from the 'Mother Knows Best' route, only because it was a little cheesy and over-musical. It's a great song, but I hope they do something different.

I actually read somewhere that having an all-white cast isn't accurate to the original fairy tale. Unfortunately, the poster didn't expand on it and I'm not familiar with the original story, so I'm not really sure how true that it.

I am not sure either. I mean, who knows if they have colored people or not. It hasn't even been released yet. But even if there are none, I doubt Disney did it cause they hate people that are not white.

I love mother knows best! I feel like it fit the situation more, because she was supposed to be more "motherly" and condescending, acting as if Rapunzel was a child. But I would like to see something more grand and "evil", rather than light-hearted like mother knows best is. If that makes sense.

I'm more concerned with the casting of Kristen Bell. I think she'll be good actinmg-wise but I'm not sure about her singing ability. She says she has Musical Theatre training. Yet from what I've heard, she sounds very strained. I hope there's more to her range then what I've heard so far.

The person you are thinking of Kimmy is Kristen Stewart. Thankfully she is not coming anywhere near the Disney company. (She couldn't sing if her life depended on it)

Kristen Bell is short, blonde, and has blue eyes. She best known for the following projects- Veronica Mars, Gossip Girl and now she's on a show called House of Lies.
