I'm quite looking forward to this in all honesty. If the rumours are true and Sally Field is playing Ariel's mom then I'd definitely want to see it just for that because she just brings so much warmth to her characters that she plays. The animation also looks a hell of a lot better than TLM2 which is a plus as that's been the problem with most sequels; lack of animation quality.

I was upset that they were making a Cinderella III but I ended up buying it and was pleasently surprised by the storyline and the songs. I'm really hoping that I will have the same reaction to one of my favourite movies. The Little Mermaid II wasn't half bad and featured original characters and songs while sticking to a pretty good plot. I'm willing to give this a shot and I'm hoping that I won't be too dissapointed with it. I'd hate to see them wreck such a wonderful classic and my favourite movie of all time. nothing they do with prequels, sequels, or any other form of story suppliment will ruin the original for me, if i don't like it i'll watch it once and that will be the end of it. The first one was too good for any additions to ruin for me. |

Yeah and thankfully they actually made her look somewhat like Eric cuz usually Disney makes kids total clones of the moms.

I don't think this will be all that bad??
I mean there is a sneak peek on the Platinum DVD right?
Ariel catched Sebastian in a band or something?
If I remember rightly the animation was pretty darn good!
I quite liked the second TLM saying that but the animation really did ruin it.
(Remember Ariel's extending neck??)
But Im a MAJOR TLM fan - its my favourite DIsney film, so I'm happy with any story involving her.
And, course, Jodi Benson xx

Apparently I read on the site that lists upcoming disney DVD releases it's scheduled for February 2008 :S So probably sometime next year  |
