Let me just say something to everyone who is like, "OMG NO DUNT RUIN MY FAV MOVIE *SAD FACE*"
They didn't ruin your favorite movie. Nothing is altered in the original. Just because there's a ( crappy ) sequel and another ( possibly..probably ) worse film in the making doesn't mean it's killing the first. You don't HAVE to watch it. If other people are willing to sit down and watch it, let them.
Sure, this is all just about profit ( because hey.. milking films is what Disney seems to be doing best now a days. ) but if people want to see the movie made then who are you to say "Oh gawd, no. I hope they don't make it or i'll die."
Just get over it. Like I said. YOU DON'T HAVE TO WATCH IT. So don't.

We get to see Ariel's mother? now that could be cool, so its not another Lion King 1.5 kinda thing? well eaither way I still don't think LM needs another sequal. Sally Field rox though, one of my favorite movies featuring her is Mrs. Doubtfire.

As great as Sally Field is, I doubt she can even save this film. It looks awful. I think they had 10 year old kids animating this film. At least the animation looks better than Hunchback 2. But it's still enough to keep me from seeing it. I might see it if it comes on television. But I refuse to pay to see it.

I'd end up watching this purely to see Ariel's mother and for the voice of Sally Field aswell

Mrs. Doubtfire was probably my favorite role for Sally Field as well.
For those of you that purchased The Little Mermaid: Special Edition, could you tell us what is said about TLM 3 or anything interesting you learned from the fow the film was made.

I'd end up watching this purely to see Ariel's mother and for the voice of Sally Field aswell ....However I might end up doing this as well.

I have read what it is about, I do hate it when they make films about a character's past life before the first one, like what they did with the third Lion King installment. I think that if they make a sequel, it should be a sequel, not a prequel.
Ah well, that is just my views. I am not really for or against this.

. And there was no point of making the Little Mermaid Disney Channel Show series, it is completley dull and a waste. All those Disney Channel Movie Series like Alladin, Buzz Lightyear was so stupid.... There was an old one was'nt there... I actually liked that.. well saying that i was like 5 at the time the trailer is kinda far fetched ...so I'm not too sure :S:S gah why can't they just leave it alone.. Let me just say something to everyone who is like, "OMG NO DUNT RUIN MY FAV MOVIE *SAD FACE*" They didn't ruin your favorite movie. Nothing is altered in the original. So don't. all we're saying (well at least I am) is that they should leave the classics alone and make up some NEW ideas instead of going on making more and more sequels to movies that were good enough as a single movie...

^_^ Nice to be agreed with I was bothered to read it last night; its a good-ish story line but I could'nt find any mention of Ariels mother so that could be wrong.... if thats right its a midquel between 1 and 2 ... but i still won't go out and see it ...
