I liked the original (except that when I was young and I saw it when it went back to theatres and I bawled most of the way thru after Bambi's ma died) and y'all know I'm tentative and suspicious of sequels, but I have to say that it looks cute. ;D

What's making it sound really appealing to me is that Patrick Stewart will be provding the voice for The Great Prince Of The Forest, Bambi's father in this movie, and he's one of my all-time favourite actors!  |

It will be released on February 7th here in Canada. Same day as my anniversary  It doesn't look half bad... but I still dont like th e idea that they made a sequel to Bambi... There is far too much talking. Bambi hardly talks in the first movie. It's going to be so strange. |

You do have a point there Sarah, but I think it's cool how they've made the Prince Of The Forest talk in this sequel as he didn't say a word at all in the first
