I really like this movie. Tim Allen is amazing. I like the plot of the story and how well the actors did their part. I really like it

This movie is really great. I love the characters and I really loved the ending. I think that the second movie really destroyed the first one...

Ditto, it was pretty bad, they made Charlie so old! I mean, he probably grew 10-12 years!

Not really, Charlie is played by the same guy as in the original

I didn't think the second was all that bad. Whoa. This is odd. I'm actually defending a sequel. But the first film was definitely better. I love this film. Tim Allen is wonderful as St. Nick. And the rest of the cast is just as great.

It is deffinatly a cleaver film, the second is a good attempt at Disney making some more money on Merchandise and ticket sales. Although it does have potential for a 3rd, not sure how but it's got that ending that could so easily be added to.
I think that they listened to what every partent tells their child about Santa though and not just made it up as they go along trying to be original all of the time.

This is the only thing (besides Home Improvment) that Tim Allen did right. I think that comment will get me some negitive karma, but thats just how I feel. This was a really good movie though. The second really bombed though...

Kimmy, I'd definitely recommend it - it's really good, and Tim Allen is great! And, like joplin4 said I'm actually going to defend the sequel - I really enjoyed the sequel too. (But the first is better, of course). I'm gonna defend Tim Allen a bit too, he has done some excellent stuff, besides The Santa Clause films and Toy Story = I would recommend Galaxy Quest. (It's got one of my fave actors in it as well - Alan Rickman I can hardly wait till after Halloween at the very least to go by until I can let myself get into my favorite time of year and watch Xmas movies!!

I agree, the second was also pretty good as well, I usually don't like swquals very much, but this one was an exception

Sort of a weird thought that I had the other night (I...I've had trouble sleeping and my thoughts have taken some weird turns >.> Anyway, as part of becoming Santa Claus, the new Santa (in the movie, Scott Calvin) takes on the appearance of Santa: growing older, gaining weight, growing a beard, even his complexion changes. So, my question...what if a man who wasn't white killed Santa? In theory, Scott's successor could be black, right? Or Asian or Latino etc. What if a woman killed Santa? Would she become Santa? o.o sorry for the weirdness... ^^;;
