Me too! A little while ago, the cinemas where I used to live did a "Disney Classics" month, where they were screening The Aristocats, Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmatians and a few other classics. I'm hoping they'll do the same some time soon.

I was inspired to do this after reading the "Lowest Rated Disney Film" thread.
While most of us are not influenced by what critcs have to say. You have to admit you can appriciate when you read positive feedback on a film you love.
I figure let's start with the film that won "Favorite Disney Film" of this board a few years ago. And the first animated film ever to recieve an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture. None other then Beauty and the Beast!
Here is what some critics raved about.
Michael Srago of The New Yorker- "It's got storytelling vigor and clarity. bright eclectic animation and frisky musical wit."
John Hart of the Seattle Times- "Disney seamlessly pulls off making the audience feel for these charcters thanks to the marvelous Disney animators who are assisted by a superb cast."
Josh Larsen- "At once enchanting and beholding."
Stephen Hunter of the Baltimore Sun- " One of the most dynamic animated films ever (if not the most) made. With the prance of the camera, the sense of penatration into it's action. The brilliantly paced editing pyrotechnics give it a crackle of far more abundant then any animated feature film that came before it."
Candice Russell of the South Florida Sun-Sentenial- " It is a wonderous love story unsparing in it's sentiment."
Phillip French of the Observer (UK)- "The presenentation sees this witty, dramatically inventive retelling wearing well on a classic fairy-tale."
Henry Fitzherbert of the Daily Express- " Pure fairly tale escapisim that does not boost any digital trickery, celebrity voice overs or unnecessary action."
Christopher Tockey of the Daily Mail (UK)- " Disney's most perfectly achieved combination of animation, storytelling, and song must surely be a loving tribute to the old fairy-tale."
Andrew Pulver of the Guardian- " There's no doubting the craftsmanlike elegance of the film, summoning up the spirit of the classic fairy-tale of the 50's and 60's."
Neil Smith of Total Film- " A level of artistry, sophistication and musical excellence."
Roger Moore of Tribune News Service- " Arguably the greatest animated films and one of the finest musical ever made."
Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun-Times- " Reaches back to an older and healthier Hollywood tradition in which the best writers, filmmakers and composers gathered for a project on the assumption that a family audience deserves great entertainment to."
Hal Hinson of the Hollywood Post- "A delightfully satisfying modern fable, a masterpiece draws on the sublime tradition of of the past while remaining completely in sync with the sensibiity of it's time."
Janet Maslin of the New York Times- " A fresh and altogether triumphant in it's own right."
Jay Boyer of the Chicago Tribune- "A beauty of a bite!"
Gene Siskel of Chicago Tribune as well- " One of the most entertaining films for children and adults."
If you have any request to read some enthusiastic reviews from critics on your favorite Disney or Pixar films. Just let me know!

I really did adore this film. But I think worldwide it is one of the most adored Disney films of all time. I'm glad that it gets the recognition it deserves!

I always get annoyed when I read articles saying that Frozen is surprisingly the first Disney animated film to win Best Animated Feature. Why? Because films like Beauty and the Beast made the concept of best animated feature even possible.
