Did you hear about the Newport Beach Temple celebration? I don't think so. I live about 25 minutes from the Oakland Temple, so I don't usually find out about stuff like that unless I happen to catch it in the Church News. Were you able to attend the celebration? I do not own any gaming consoles of any kind. If my life depended on being able to do anything in a video game, I would be dead. I have no gaming skills whatsoever, which may not be a bad thing since I'd probably spend too much time playing video games if I did.

5 years of German in high school, which I proceeded to forget almost all of when I left the MTC. I can't even count to 4 in German anymore. I always slip into Russian.

What exactly is crossover music?

Crossover combines classical elements as backup with adult contemporary ballads as the key leading component. A few artists that have been sucessful in this genre are Josh Groban, Kristin Chenoweth and Sara Brightnam. (I may have misspelled her name)

Okay. In all honesty, I'm not very familiar with either opera or crossover. I've heard of the above mentioned artists, but know only one song from Groban, and I think Sara Brightman was originally in Phantom of the Opera. I've only heard of Chenoweth because of her either involvement or rumored involvement in some Disney productions.

I like classical and classical-like(i.e. John Williams of Star Wars, Superman, Indiana Jones) and classic rock and roll. My favorite artists is probably Weird Al. I don't like country or hip hop.

Do I have to pick just one? That's so tough. In the end though, my Star Wars geek wins out votes for Yoda with The Saga Begins close behind.
Random fact: During my days at BYU, my friends and I did a parody of Amish Paradise for a ward talent show. I wrote a parody song of a parody.

If you had the choice, which survival challenge would you take- A year in the Alasken Wilderness or a year in the African Safari?
