Are you at all familar with the book series of How to Train Your Dragon by Cressida Cowell? I knew it was a book series, but what little I know about it came from the bonus features on How To Train Your Dragon.

I saw the teaser trailer with the first one so I didn't consider it a spoiler as they released it to the public. As for the second one, I thought it was a punch to the gut. Just after it seemed like this could be a very happy ending, they went and did that. That said, it also added tremendous emotional depth and pathos to the story. You don't see that often in animated films these days.
I'm not one to look down on a movie just because DreamWorks made it. A good animated movie is a good animated movie. That said, I usually skip DreamWorks movies in theaters. Most of them don't appeal to me and though I often catch them on TV, it usually happens that my first instinct was right. This year is unusual in that I will see more DreamWorks animated films in theaters than Disney on account of Mr. Peabody and Sherman and Dragon 2. I'm still undecided on Big Hero 6. It's not capturing my interest yet.
And even if I do see Big Hero 6, it has to be spectacular to be a better film than Dragon 2.

The death of Hiccup's father or the discovery that his mother was still alive? Hiccup's father is dead? Silver . My phone doesn't block spoilers... I think I've ruined the movie for myself! What is something you cannot live without?

Ari- Sending you a pm right now! BRP- How would you rate the animation quality on scale of one to ten? For me it's tough to put it on a scale as I usually don't rate things in a star or scale system. What stood out to me was the quality of the storytelling.

What is your dream vacation that you have not yet been on? Someday I'd like to visit England and France (if only to see Disneyland Paris).
