What do you think of Edgar Allen Poe

Deepest film(s): Sleeping Beauty, The Lion King.
Poetry: Not really, but I have read a few of the poems by Russia's greatest poet, Aleksandr Pushkin.
I've stayed really far away from almost all the sequels. I did think Bambi II was good, Kronk's New Groove gets major bonus points for featuring Kronk, and Cinderella III was strong.
As for as Poe goes, I'm really only familar with the Raven, and that's in part thanks to a couple of brilliant Raven parodies. One from The Simpsons, and the other from Calvin and Hobbes.

Just out of curiosity why SB and TLK? (I hope I don't sound redundant) In the end, Sleeping Beauty is a story about the triumph of good over evil, and how even though bad things happen to good people, a way is prepared for good to triumph over evil. The climax of the film itself contains references to scripture. As for The Lion King, it's about how even though we make mistakes, and do things we regret, that doesn't mean it's too late to change and try to make our lives better. Plus, how can you not find something deep when James Earl Jones is speaking?
