The Sleeping Beauty soundtrack on Amazon does not have a track listing. Is the one with the old-fashion design the correct one? As far as I can tell, all the soundtrack listings on Amazon for Sleeping Beauty contain the complete soundtrack. I just did a quick Amazon search and the soundtracks for the film I found had a complete listing. The soundtrack cover art with Phillip leaning over to kiss Aurora and the cover art that is identical to the 2008 blu-ray/DVD cover art are both identical as far as music content goes. This cover shows Philip leaning over to kiss Aurora with other characters from the movie surrounding them including dragon Maleficent. The 2008 release is supposed to be remastered. I bought it for the purposes of having a backup copy just in case something happened to my other one. The cover art for the original 1959 theatrical release shows Aurora sleeping in the pink dress and Sleeping Beauty is written in cursive. I do not own the entire soundtrack for this release. What sets is apart are its versions of I Wonder and Once Upon a Dream, both of which feature studio recordings of Mary Costa designed to showcase her voice. On this release they're titled Blue Bird/I Wonder and Woodland Symphony/Once Upon a Dream. The re-releases beautifully capture those songs as they fit into the whole of the film. The original release is a beautiful showcase of Mary Costa's voice. It's very similar to the versions of those songs on the remastered soundtracks, but different enough that I happily bought them both songs for only 99 cents each. If you just want I Wonder and Once Upon a Dream, I would buy the original 1959 recordings (pink dress cover art) because of how they showcase Mary Costa's voice almost standalone. If you want the whole soundtrack, I would buy the remastered version. In comparing the 1959 release (pink dress) to the remaster (blue dress with Phillip in the picture as well), the 1959 release has 12 tracks compared to the remastered's 19 tracks. Without being able to listen to the entire original 1959 recording, I do not know if it's as complete as the remastered release. And if you just enjoy listening to Mary Costa sing, you can't go wrong with buying the 1959 original release recordings of her 2 songs and the entire remastered soundtrack. Okay, so that was a long answer. I hope it helped.

If Tom Hanks wasn't cast to portray Walt, who would you like to play him? I honestly haven't thought about it. I'm still surprised they're trying to portray Walt Disney.

Fair enough What direction, movie wise, would you like Disney to start heading towards in the near future?

Making great Star Wars movies. And changing release dates if necessary to ensure that the story is done right. The same sentient could apply to just about everything else they make. I'd also like to see them go away from the live action versions of their own animated classics.

Ever come across a book you couldn't finish because how horrible the writing was?

I have a CD called The Disney Princess Collection with I Wonder on the track listing. It sounds exactly the same as what she sang in the film. So I presume that's not the unpublished version you were talking about. Since I won't be doing any shopping on Amazon for awhile due to personal reasons.
Can you describe how that version differs from the vocalizations and the song I Wonder that are featured in the film?

Can you describe how that version differs from the vocalizations and the song I Wonder that are featured in the film? I've had a hard time coming up with how to answer your question, but here goes. When I think of the film versions of I Wonder/Once Upon a Dream, I think of how seamlessly Mary Costa's vocals fit with the Tchaikovsky score. Almost as if the vocal performance and the music are perfectly balanced with the visuals that we see on screen. In the film itself, all 3 elements are in balance. On the other hand, the 1959 soundtrack release places Mary Costa's voice front and center. One of Disney's music people who found these recordings in the archives described the 1959 release as a focus on the vocal performance more than the music. In the 1959 versions recorded specifically for the soundtrack, Mary Costa's voice is the main star of the songs. It seems to me that in some places, they actually turned down the volume of the music so Costa's voice would stand out more. The 2 versions are very similar. I don't know that I would have bought the 1959 soundtrack in its entirety for just these 2 songs since I already own the soundtrack. But since these 2 songs were just 99 cents each (U.S. dollars), I thought it was worth it to enjoy the differences.

I've read one Star Wars fanfiction story in its entirety. Otherwise, I've read pieces of Star Wars fanfiction, but that's the extent of it.
