my dad was kind of simular when I would be on his comp when I would spend time at his place he would sometimes look over and me and say "Whatcha up to fozdick(a weird nickname he gave me, he said it was some kind of cartoon or something)" and I would be like "umm just stuff".

Yeah, that's what I tell my dad. It's not that he doesn't trust me he just knows a lot about computers and everything that can happen.

it is part of a mom's job to be annoying sometimes!
haha Shenzi! i think all dads are obligated to give their kids weird nicknames from cartoons, my dad calls me Boo-boo to this day....

Yeah, that's what I tell my dad. It's not that he doesn't trust me he just knows a lot about computers and everything that can happen. yeah, that's what scares me some times. My dad knows computers very well, and so he should as he works for an internet company. And I am afraid that he will find his way here. I am pretty sure he wouldn't try, but still.. |

Yeah my dad was not THAT good. he just knew enough to possibly accuratly diagnose a problem I may have bene having. He's gone online a couple of times and somehow without going on the internet he saw that I had been on some game sites for Kingdom Hearts. I'm not sure how he didn't see this but if he had he would have said something.

your internet history is stored on your computer and if you know what you are doing it can be accessed without going online. I clear mine out everyfew days because it makes the computer run faster.

How do you do that? Erase it I mean? Not that I need to this is my personal computer no one else uses it and my mom can't perform checks like Peggys dad as shes clueless so yeah I am safe and she trusts me anyway. So I just am curious of how you erase the history.

Yeah my mom decovered me on this Full House community on LJ a few years ago back when Full House and Jesse were my obbession. She just found me there by walking my dinner into me and after giving me the third degree and making me show her stuff and how it works she was ok, and she even went nuts about me being a mod there like I had graduated HS early or something. And She knows I am on a Quantum Leap board and she was actually excited about that because she knows that show and that I love it and I think she was happy that I found people to talk about it with. So yeah my mom is pretty cool. |

to erase it from your internet browser click tools, then internet options, then under the General tab it should have Internet History options and a button to delete it click that. To delete it fom the computer i have to get my husband to explain it, he set it up to automatically do it a while back and now i can't remember what he did.
