Oh well. Man, I wan't to draw, but I'm just.. not in the mood.. But I really want to, but I just am not in the mood. I hate when that happens. Because then if I start, nothing will turn out right. Nothing turns out right for me anyway cuz I am a lousy drawer. hehe.

Oh wait, I do have something.
I got back from seeing the transformers, but I don't know how it ended because I walked out during the climax.
But I sort of know how it ended because, really, when do the good guys lose in movies like that?

I should go to bed, but I saw this. I know exactly how that feels. not only do I want to draw, but I need to draw. but I don't feel like it, so it will go so slowly and I am going to get destracted. ha, so instead i haven't even started

It's terribly bothersome, particularly when already in a sour mood. I was staring at the sketchbook blank page for a while.. I wanted to finally do some Disney fanart,b ut now I just can't do a happy picture. *irritated everywhere!*

I love to draw but I just wish I can draw from memory instead of just looking at a picture.

Well, practice makes perfect.
In any case, I can't draw from memory, and generally don't. If I'm going to draw without a reference, it's something that's in my head, so there's nothing to memorize.
But still, the best way to start drawing is to look at good tutorials, actually follow the steps in books, but sometimes to get a really good understanding of your subject, copy other artists' renditions of it, or professional works.. you know, if you want to know how to draw cinderella, or a generic female face, start finding the clip art of Cinderella and copy it.

yeah. I know how that is
Claire: I agree, I wish I could too. I need to look at what I am drawing. but that is a gift just to do that too, so be glad

Yes thats exactly what I do when I draw..thats actually what I did with all my sketchs but hey they all came out well so its all good.

No, see, that's a common misconception.
It's NOT a gift.
It's a lot of practice. But you have to enjoy it. If you don't enjoy it, you're not going to practice, but the peopel who do enjoy it, practice, and thus get better. At least, that's my theory.
(But on the other hand, I think the 'enjoying art' gene is around there somewhere, because I do come from a line of people who enjoyed art and painted and such, so, you never know.)
But in any case, it's not a gift, it's just lots of practice. I didn't get good on accident, I got good because I dedicated a WHOLE LOT of my time to just trying and trying and trying to get better, all the time.

Yeah I practiced alot actually. When I watched a movie I used to pause the movie so that I can look up and draw the characters on the screen.
