Thanks. I was aiming to capture the spirit of the line from the film about her lips and the rose, and I decided to see what it would look like if the only color in the picture was the color of her lips. I'm also toying wth a gold of sunshine in her hair version, but I'm not so sure it will look as striking.

Ive always been struck by the sheer artistry of the sequence in Sleeping Beauty when the good fairies give Aurora their gifts. Avatar and Banner Set A couple of banners:

Those are very beautiful scenes, i love they way you captured the theme of the scene in one simple phrase.

Thanks. I love the ethereal feel of those scenes. It adds to part of Disney's desire to make Sleeping Beauty stand out, especially against the cheaper animation that had begun to rule Hollywood in those days. And he was right. The cheap animation that he hated dissipated after that film. They couldn't compete.

For an all too brief moment, I was in a serious mood. But it didn't last long, so we now return you to your regularly scheduled delusions. I miss Calvin and Hobbes. . .

That Simpsons episode is one of my favorites, and I couldn't resist using that line. The Calvin and Hobbes strip is from the time that Calvin makes a duplicate of himself, but decides to remove all his bad impulses so that his duplicate is an angel. He utters the line in horror when he discovers that his duplicate is being nice to Suzy, and Hobbes responds while we see "good" Calvin writing love poems.
