I've decided that I'd like to share some avatars and banners that I've made. Anyone is welcome to use them for as long or as little as they wish. Please don't direct link and if you use it, please give me credit. And I'll take requests. First up are some banners I made.

Every time she describes she sings that line I think of Sleeping Beauty. I also think that line foreshadows her own story. One time somebody at Disney World asked Belle what book she had just read and she responded with Sleeping Beauty. Along the same lines of the Belle reading Sleeping Beauty banner, perhaps this is part of what Ariel dreamed of. As a side note, though I've never seen it, I've heard that in Eric's castle, a picture of Prince Philip can be seen in the background.

Thanks. Here's another banner from Beauty and the Beast that I tried to theme to the movie.

The next two banners were inspired by Star Wars. For Episode I, Lucasfilm did some tone poems to advertise the films. Dialogure from the film was used to describe each character and what their ideals and beliefs were. At the end, each tone poem had a tagline. Anakin's was one destiny, Darth Maul's was one truth, Anakin's mother had one love, and Queen Amidala had one will. With that as the backdrop, here are the first banners in the tone poem series. For One Destiny I wanted to contrast the disguised peasant girl with the princess she truly was. For One Dream I wanted to evoke the line from the film, "dreaming of true love in slumber repose." I chose the picture of Philip and Briar Rose because I love how safe she feels in Philip's arms in this scene, again using the castle as a reflection of her destiny. I plan on making more of these as a way to explore the theme of the films and convey them in two words.

Thanks for the compliments. I think a major reason why Disney's appeal is so timeless is because of the themes in the films. I hope to make some more later today, but in the meantime, here's One Courage.

Thanks, that's what I was shooting for. Does anybody know of a good site for Beauty and the Beast screen caps? The one I had has since vanished.
