The fun has arrived! *crickets chirp* Well...okay...ahem. Anyway, yeah, newbie here. Not new to discussion boards or roleplays, but new to this board. The latest favorite Disney movie to go on my list was "Treasure Planet". I saw it on the Disney Channel and--huzzah!--I'm hooked. I can totally relate to B.E.N., which is why I chose the name as an id for this board. Well, this is me at 1am. Great board, BTW!

Haha! I saw Treasure Planet on Disney Channel too! I think it was the first time I've ever seen it, and I thought it was the cutest thing ever =D. Welcome to the board!

Insanity loves company. I have a reputation for being a little crazy myself--one of the reasons I can relate to B.E.N. among a few other random cartoon characters. Gotta love the Genie. Robin Williams is absolutely hilarious!
I managed to find a used Treasure Planet DVD at the local mall just recently. Sadly, the disk freezes up on the climax of the movie when Jim goes back to open a different door, which is a bummer. I'll have to get my paws on a better DVD one of these days. Anyway, thanks for the warm welcome everybody!

B.E.N was one of the best thing in Treasure Planet "In the flesh! Well, sort of, except for skin, organs and anything that - that - that resembles flesh, that's not there. " haha great disney character.

LOL! Thanks for the points, guys. *grinz* And thanks again for welcoming me here.
Hmm...I think everything B.E.N. said made me laugh, but I think the two scenes that crack me up the most are when he was short-circuiting trying to remember details about the location of Flint's trove and Jim had to slap him and then when he went in to disable the laser cannons thinking it would be a piece of cake. He sees a million and one wires and he goes "Oh, mama..." ROTFL! I'm practically in hysterics whenever I watch that part.

i loved it when Jim told him to go disconnect the laser cannons and he specifically says to be quiet about it, but B.E.N turns his legs into rollars and rolls down the halls humming loudly, lol.

Speaking of B.E.N.'s modes of transportation, I love the way he gets around like that! I thought that was the coolest thing when he was scooting along on his knees. I just wish he would have had more opportunities to get around like that in the film. Whoever initially came up with that idea in his final design--ah! So creative!
The other thing that I find so funny about the character is the fact that he impulsively shouts--most noteably when he's supposed to be quiet. It's hilarious!
