Come stop your crying It will be alright Just take my hand And hold it tight I will protect you From all around you I will be here Don't you cry For one so small, You seem so strong My arms will hold you, Keep you safe and warm This bond between us Can't be broken I will be here Don't you cry 'Cause you'll be in my heart Yes, you'll be in my heart From this day on Now and forever more You'll be in my heart No matter what they say You'll be here in my heart Always (Image credit goes to EllaLovesMusicc from tumblr)

I was going through my messages and stumbled upon a conversation about powerful lyrics and I remember the one we did for God Help The Outcasts, so here's another! You'll Be In My Heart! What does this song mean to you?

This is a great song. I agree that the lyrics are very powerful. It really shows just how much Kala loves Tarzan. It didn't matter that he was different. He's her son and she'd do anything to protect him.

That’s one of the main reasons I love this song. It’s nice to listen to, but there is such a powerful message behind it. I do sort of wish that Glenn Close had sung the entire song, her voice was so gently delivered at the start, almost like the Mrs. Potts of Tarzan. However, I do appreciate Phil Collins’ work.

Every line of the song is just so beautiful and meaningful. I love how this movie shows how strong a parent's love for a child can be, whether it's biological or not.
