I had it for maybe two weeks. I deleted it for the new Final Fantasy phone game. I was only level 6 since I live out in the mountains. The closet gym and poke stops were a 25 minute road trip for me.

I don't play this much but I love opening the app when I walk to and from work. I've caught some really great Pokemon and there are 6 Pokestops within a 10 min walk from my house. It comes in handy when I run out off Pokeballs.
I think my favourite Pokemon that I have caught so far is my Electabuzz!

Lexi was the one who got me into it. I downloaded it on my other phone that broke, and have yet to download it again on my new phone, but I love this app! I love the fact that it's only first gen as well, since that was pretty much my childhood.

I'm still playing this every once in a while. I mostly log in to the app when I'm in new cities or areas in hopes of catching different pokemon. I loved catching Pokemon when I went to Toronto last summer. There were a ton of Pokestops and lots of Pokemon. My sister in laws apartment was in between areas and sometimes you could just wander around the map without moving and hatch your eggs with a glitch. I'd just leave the app open while we were hanging out and BAM eggs hatched.

I got a smartphone for Christmas and started playing over the Winter. There are several gyms and Pokestops near my house, so the game gives me a lot of motivation to get out and walk.

I like that they've updated the game with new Pokémon too so there's always something new to catch or hatch.

If you tap on your character's picture on the main screen, you'll see a new tab that says "friends". If you tap that, you'll see an option to add friends

Is anyone still playing this?
I have so many items in my inventory now that I have to keep selling stuff so I can get eggs from Pokestops. I'm happy that they keep introducing new Pokemon.
