My friend and I went to see this movie last night. It was a really fun night to start out with. We bought stuffed animals of our favourite characters from the trailer and bought the kids popcorn meal from the concessions and genuinely acted like little kids even though we are both in our thirties.
The movie itself was super cute. I totally enjoyed all of the humour and it was great to see a lot of adults in the theatre laughing out loud for a good part of the movie. I did find that the plot itself had a few holes and it was quite rushed but I was never bored and always had a smile on my face. I'm pretty sure my favourite character was the big fluffy purple cat, Chloe, but you probably already knew that because of my cat obsession. I was really pleased with the animation but it wasn't worth the money to see it in 3D. It was a lot of cheap camera tricks with no real depth to the 3D factor. I would save money on that part and just see it in the 2D format. The 3D itself was a lot of old school, look at what's coming towards the camera, type stuff.
All in all I definitely recommend seeing this film if it looks cute to you. Be prepared for a lot of laughs. If you have pets, you'll definitely have a few of those "Oh my goodness! My pet totally does that! moments.

I've not seen this movie and I don't think I will see it in theatres but I do think that the previews look cute. I've often thought and wondered about what my puppy gets up to when I'm at work all day. I think I will take a look at this movie when it's out of theatres. I hope that it comes to Netflix so that I can watch it without buying it.

I really want to see this movie... But I'm going to see two later this month, so my movie budget is shot. I guess I'll have to wait for DVD. =/
