As a big fan of Steve Martin, I'm planning on seeing it eventually. From the previews, it kind of looks like Sheldon Cooper plays an alien. Which in some ways isn't all that far off from Jim Parsons' Big Bang Theory character. I can see this movie providing a lot of a laughs because of that factor.
So while the movie appeals to me, it doesn't appeal to me enough to see it in theaters given the cost of movies. Probably not what DreamWorks wants to hear either. They're hurting right now and could use a hit.

I do want to see this film, but it will not be a theatre view for me!
I really enjoy the allstar cast with Jim Parsons, Rhianna, and Steve Martin. And it looks like the 3 had a blast shooting the film and promoting it.
It has a cute premise! I will see it... Just not now.
