TS3 was so good, I don't know how they can top it. But I'm still curious!

All I know is that Gonzo called this in The Muppets Most Wanted.
Muppets: The Studio wants more.
Gonzo: While they wait for Tom Hanks to make Toy Story 4.
Gonzo=Genius!

Bring on Tom Hanks as Woody and I'm in. I don't even need a description.

Tom Hanks and Tim Allen and I'm sold. I'm eager already! I can't believe it will have been 7 years when it comes out! Time sure flies!

Pixar's calling this a stand alone film. Yet, I would think they'd want to give a backstory on this relationship. Meaning wouldn't the trilogy's elements still tie in for the fourth installment?
Well, we'll see as time draws us closer.

Interesting. This is set after Toy Story 3, right? i wonder how Woody and Bo Peep are reunited.

Lassiter: It's a love story between Woody and...this is news... Interviewer: Buzz? Lassiter: Bo-peep! Come on Woody and Buzz?!LMAO! So this a backstory then or else Bonnie ends up getting a hold of Bo-Peep? The latter wouldn't really be believable in my opinion, too much of a coincidence unless it were a different Bo-Peep. I'm not a fan of in-betweenquels but I'd take it over the original Bo-Peep showing up at Bonnie's. Or even a new Bo-Peep. That being said, normally I'd draw the line at one sequel depending on the storyline possibly two, but Toy Story is the only film with a threequel that did not disappoint me, I'd had my doubts and they were put to shame, other than Lotso being slightly redundant of the prospector it was amazing. I'm not sure how interested I am in a Woody/Bo-peep centered story but this time this franchise has earned my blind faith, as long as Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Annie Potts (Bo's original voice actress) are on board.

I don't think Bonnie lives all that from Andy? If Bo Peep was sold at a yard sale or something, it doesn't seem too farfetched that her new owners might still be nearby.
A new Bo Peep would be...kind of pointless? She wouldn't be the same, would have a different personality, different memories, etc. So, if that was the case, then why not have it be a different toy altogether?

Bo was implied to have been separated from Andy's house several years before the 3rd film in which case the child who'd originally bought her from Andy's yard sale, if that's indeed what happened, probably no longer owns her either. I'd gotten the sense in Woody's tone that she'd been smashed, but that's probably too horrific for Pixar.
I'd, however, see potential in her belonging to a neighbor/playmate of Bonnie's who brings her when she/he comes to play.

Recently I've watched a couple of back to back showings of the first two films on ABCFamily and have been intriuged by how in the second film Andy's mother refers to Woody as "An old family toy". I wanna know what that means. I'd prefer it if this next film revolved around Woody's past. How he was presumably once Andy's mother's or father's toy when they were kids. Why do we really need a Bo Peep story?

Why do we really need a Bo Peep story? I hear where you are coming from. Watching this franchise as a whole. I had my own idea where the fourth installment would venture. It appears though John Lasseter has an affinity for Bo Peep and is eager to explore the romance between her and Woody in greater depth.

It's certainly not the worst idea and I'd be much appreciative if they threw in some Jesse/Buzz.
