Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers: LIVE-ACTION MOVIE

Yeah, you guys read that title correctly. It seems Disney has green-lit a live-action Rescue Rangers movie. When I heard Jim talk about it during the Disney Afternoon panel at Zenkaikon I didn't think anything of it. That is till I looked up stuff online and found many news sites reporting it.

It looks like Disney is trying to cash in what FOX did with The Chipmunks and Sony did with The Smurfs. Part of me is afraid to see this be made while the other can't wait to see what they are going to do with it.

As a huge fan of Chip and Dale, this could be interesting. But this movie will have a near impossible task of seeing them top the moment in Disneyland when Chip and Dale reenacted The Matrix fight scene for me. You've never seen The Matrix until you've seen it reenacted by 5 foot tall chipmunks.

I grew up loving The Rescue Rangers. I'm a little leery of a live action version but like Arielle, I won't pass judgement until I see an official trailer.
I am obsessed with the Alvin and the Chipmunks movies so another movie about any chipmunks is up my alley esp if it's a Disney version of my two favourites!
