Surprised I couldn't find a thread for this one since there's one for Guardians of the Galaxy (Sorry if there is one and I missed it!) Here's a link to the trailer for those who haven't seen it! This movie is being released April 4th, 2014! www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLWsK1ZFunA

I have seen the first Captain America and I really enjoyed this one. But I have lost touch and am too lazy to hit new tab on my browser... so is this the second or third installment to the series? O.o

Samuel L.Jackson is reprisng his role as Nick Fury! That's one big reason to save my money for this. His charatcer is bada**!
I hope it stays strictly platonic between the two leads. I like Scarlett Johanson's charatcer as stoick. "Love is for children. I save people who I owe debt." She's all about her job.
I like Chris Evans but I hope he improves. Traveling more into his chartcer's mental torment. He seemed under developed for The Avengers.

Looking forward to this. Based on the trailers, it could be my favorite Marvel movie. It appears loaded with political intrigue too.
Silver, based on the comic books, I don't think you have to worry about romance between Natasha Romanova and Steve Rogers.

Silver, based on the comic books, I don't think you have to worry about romance between Natasha Romanova and Steve Rogers. {Spoiler}Thor: The Dark World was not faithful to it's orginal source. He and Jane were suppposed to break up. Then he would turn his affecctions towards Lady Sith while Jane got back together with Donald Blake. In terms of romance films like to go into convetional territory. I wouldn't be thrown for a loop if romance blossomed for Natasha and Steven Rogers.

Good point. Another example would be the cinematic romance between Tony Stark (Iron Man) and Pepper Potts. From what I know, in the comics, she is never involved with Tony and eventually marries Happy Hogan.
At the same time, the comic books have established that Natasha has been romantically involved with Daredevil and Hawkeye. While I'm not sure if Disney currently controls the film rights to Daredevil, we know they control Hawkeye. And The Avengers did hint at a past of some sort between Hawkeye and Black Widow.
I could well be wrong, but I don't see a romantic involvement between Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanova. Part of Black Widow's backstory is very mercenary like with a tremendous amount of manipulation by ruling authorities thrown in. Captain America's patriotism seems to stand in stark contrast to Natasha's various alliances. All that said, I fully acknowledge that I could be insanely wrong. I've only read a handful of Marvel comics, all of which pertain to Black Widow.

Hey, I know the movie is coming out in some parts of the world soon and of course it comes out where I am April 4th. So, I just wanted to let everyone know that it has been reported that there are TWO after credits scenes so try and stay if you can (one was directed by Joss Whedon which means it pertains to Avengers 2!!!!). All of the early reactions say that this movie is one of marvels best so i'm going opening day for sure!
