This song was released in early 1959 and it was the song that started it all. "Tall Paul" by Annette Funicello. I found this video and it was a good find. Thanks to Spoonfedcornbread for finding an original copy of the 45. It was the only release on the Disneyland label. The label was purple and it could be used for LP's in the "ST-3900" storyteller series. Other Disneyland albums were also released in the DQ-1200 series with a yellow label. "Tall Paul" was her only big hit and it got this song got a lot of airplay. This song was a classic. It features a backup group, the Afterbeats. Here it is. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0H0e1EYwOc

Sorry for sounding like an idiot but what is "Tall Paul"? "Tall Paul" was her first song by Annette Funicello and it came out around 1959. It was released as a single on the Disneyland label and it was later released on her debut album "Annette" on the Buena Vista label that same year.

Okay another question who is Annette? Annette Funicello was an actress and singer. She first started on the original "Mickey Mouse Club" back in 1955 until 1959 before she landed her career as an actress and a singer. She first appeared in the film "The Shaggy Dog" along a few Disney films such as "Babes in Toyalnd", "The Horsemasters", "The Misadventures of Merlin Jones" and "The Monkey's Uncle". She also appeared with Frankie Avalon in "Beach Party", "Beach Blanket Bingo", "How to Stuff a Wild Bikini" and "Back to the Beach".

I checked the link again and it was removed due to copyright violation. What's wrong with that? I checked one of the users that Spoondedcornbread got suspended completely. That stinks! Try iMeem.
