Butters actually got me thinking about this show the other day. I've seen almost every episode. From the lady who sleeps with her hair dryer to the lady who eats toilet bowl cleaner.... I just can't get enough of this strange show.
Has anyone else seen this?
What are some of the strangest addictions you've seen on this show?

This show is, well, addictive. @_@ I think the strangest one is the woman is was addicted to eating her husband's ashes

Ewe! I saw that one too! She would lick her finger and stick it right in the urn...

I know! But I felt really bad for her too ;_;
Oh and there was also the woman who was addicted to drinking her own urine.
...I probably shouldn't be eating while thinking about this show :X

LOL! I remember that one too. I did feel really bad for the lady who ate her husbands ashes. She seemed to have (at least in her mind) a logical reason for doing so.
There was also the lady who ate nail polish...
Come to think of it... It seems like it's mostly women who have the strange addictions.

Me and my mom record and watch this show faithfully. It's like a guilty pleasure to me. Maybe watching everyone struggle with their addictions is my addiction. ^^;
I'd have to say the strangest thing that I have seen on the show is the gentleman who was in a "relationship" with his car. That is the saddest thing in the whole world. He even "made love" to it. I had to rewind it and watch it again to believe it. Or what about the gentleman who was married to the mannequin? I believe that was it. People like that really have psychological problems. As humans we are all programmed to seek companionship. But how can an inanimate object fulfill those needs? I'm sorry... but I like to cuddle. And I can't cuddle with a car or mannequin.
Oh... And then there are the people's whose addictions affect their health. Like the girl who eats nail polish (gross). But what about the girl who drinks gasoline?! I mean who the heck does that. She said that she got behind a car and smelled the exhaust and thought "oh, that smells good." Then decided to start ingesting it. Seriously? Wasn't that on the list of things that people automatically knew not to put in your body?
Hmmm...
I will get off of my rant now. I do love this show. It's addicting. And though some people's addictions seem positively crazy to me, I assume to them it is no different than being addicted to drinking or smoking.
To each their own.

The guy who was in love with his real doll wasn't all that strange to me. During that episode they psychologically analyzed him and there was nothing psychologically wrong with him. I guess since he's not really hurting anyone, not even himself, if he's happy, then I don't find that so strange.

Didn't the episode about the man and the car say something about being attracted to objects as an actual sexual orientation.
The sex doll guy though...I've seen him on other shows...I think maybe Taboo? He comes across as weird to me. I can't quite say why.

Yeah, I personally find it weird. I think I've seen him on that show too. I guess to each his own....

Didn't the episode about the man and the car say something about being attracted to objects as an actual sexual orientation. I believe they diagnosed him with some oddball thing, yes. Either way... it's weird. LOL

My mom watches it, though I've never actually sat down and gave it a shot myself. I have seen the commercials for it. I believe the one I saw the last preview for was the girl who ate deodorant.

I'm always kind of amazed at the people who are addicted to eating/drinking some kind of harmful substance and insist that because they haven't had any negative effects on their health, that means it won't have any longterm effects or even insist that it's good for them Sent from my GT-P3113 using proboards

I know, Butters! It can be absolutely mind boggling! But they have themselves convinced... So it's hard to be swayed otherwise!
