All seem like they could potentially be good. PotC 5.. I haven't even seen 4. And I agree with KotD, I would totally be on board for Muppets 2, but I don't like Ricky Gervais

Since Marvel is now owned by Disney. I'm going to include Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, and The Avengers sequel in this thread. Iron Man 3 is less then a month away now. No trailers that I've seen for the sequel to Thor. I'm chomping at the bit! I want to see it so badly. I really enjoyed the first Avengers movie so I was thrilled when director Joss Wheden announced the other night that he sequel would be arriving in the Cinema in 2015. Unless stated otherwise, all of the main cast will be returning. I loved how a band of superheros need to get over themsleves and learn teamwork. My only complaint in the orginal is Thor didn't have enough screen time. I want more of him! I think the real treat of the first film was Tom Hiddleston as the villain Loki. He's deliciously evil onscreen. Can't wait to see how his character will play in Thor 2 and this. I hope Hugo Weaving will reprise his role. Fingers are crossed! Captain America 2 should also be released next year. |

I really have thus far enjoyed the Ironman movies and eagerly await Ironman 3 along with Captain America 2. Both, I feel, will be really great movies. I love having fellow nerds to share this excitement with!!! ^^

Whenever it comes, it's definitely Star Wars Episode VII for me. Star Wars anything is it for me!!! I'd love to see them expand on the basis of Luke's Jedi Academy on Yavin 4 and his relationship with Mara Jade. But there were so many stories based after the Battle of Endor... I'm just eager to see which direction they go.  |

I don't think the EU will have much influence on the new trilogy. I think they're either going to place the movies after the post ROTJ EU or essentially wipe out the EU altogether.

The Thor 2 trailer will be with Iron Man 3 apparently I sure hope so. I'll see Captain America 2 but he's not my favourite among the bunch. It will be more for the fact that you have to see each character's film to understand how The Avengers film ties their story together. |

The Marvel movies have been interesting experiences for me. While not a big fan of the characters individually, I've really enjoyed the Marvel Phase One movies. As someone who doesn't know who they are outside of the movies, I think the movies have done a tremendous job introducing someone who is not familiar with the characters to their world.
