So yesterday/today seems to have been a big news day for locking in Disney projects. The films that have confirmed release dates are:
The Muppets 2 (starring Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell and reportedly Tine Fey) - March 21st 2014
Maleficent (starring Angelina Jolie) - July 2nd 2014
1952 now named Tomorrowland (starring George Clooney) - December 19th 2014
Pirates of the Caribbean 5 - July 10th 2015

If they keep the main focus on Jack Sparrow and Anjelica again. I'm all up for a fifth installment of Pirates of the Caribbean.
I would very much like to see 1906 if the film is still going to happen.

1906 has a pending release year of 2015 though I don't see how Brad Bird could hope to do 1952 in 2014 then have that ready for the year after, it's kind of impossible... And I agree about POTC 5. Also if they get Barbossa back to his roots I'll be happy  |

I loved Captain Barbossa in the fourth film. I thought he was both twisted and hilarious. Only Geoffrey Rush could play him like that.
I would really prefer it if Will and Elizabeth do not come back. I honestly think they dumbed the story down.
Sarah- Is Amy Adams returning to the Muppets sequel?

As far as I'm aware no, neither is Jason Segel.
Ricky Gervais is definitely locked in for the lead, he was on a UK chatshow a couple of days back (called This Morning) talking about starting shooting today. And Ty Burrell is locked in as well, I believe they're trying to get Tina Fey for the female lead.
I actually might be working on The Muppets 2 as a runner as it's shooting over here at Pinewood and I have a contact who's got me on the runners list for March so, fingers crossed! Could be bringing you guys some inside gossip haha!

Yup! I had an update on it from my contact today as it's been pushed back because of the adverse weather conditions (for Britain anyway >_<) and the script is apparently being revised! |

If you hear there's any wardrobe assistant places going, give me a shout I was excited for Muppets 2, 'til I saw Ricky Gervais - I don't know what it is about him, I just don't find him funny  POTC - I'll watch it, but I'm not excited for it - the last one didn't do a whole lot for me. |
