It's the year of Disney princesses! First there was the re-release of Beauty and the Beast. Pixar created their first princess themed movie with Brave. Now the classic that is Cinderella is entering the Diamond Collection line. On Blu-ray none the less. This will include combo packs of DVD and Digital Copies. I am so excited! Cinderella is one of my favorites. It's the ultimate "Feel Good" movie. It just makes me happy and bubbly inside.

I'm hoping for great bonus features. The original 2005 DVD release was hit and miss in that area. Also, not all blu-ray combo packs include the digital copy. Gold color packaging has digital copy, blue color packaging does not. And the digital copy price is higher.

Accroding to Amazon.com there will be a combo pack that has all three types of discs. It's in the gold package just as you said. There will also be the Blu-ray/DVD pack and the DVD/Digital Copy. No Blu-ray and Digital Copy only though. I'm not sure if this is what you want to hear or not. These are the bonus features for the Blu-ray- Tangled-Ever After: An Animated Short Behind the Magic: A New Disney Princess Fantasyland Diane Disney Miller Intro Personalized Digital Storybook: Bibidi Bobibdi You (Disney Second Screen) The Magic of a Glass Slipper: A Cinderella Story DisneyView Classic DVD Bonus Features It doesn't seem too bad. No tacky pop star Music Videos this time. I must confess I loved the Princess Theme video called "Every Girl Can Be a Princess" on the 2005 DVD. It's a big guilty pleasure. I wish they had said the name of the singer. She had such a lovely voice. It only says it's sung by Cindella but I can't find any information on who the real vocalist is. I do wish they had an Audio Commentary. I can't get enough of those. They did it for Sleeping Beauty, Bambi, The Jungle Book and Lady and the Tramp. Why not for this classic?

I have the film on blu-ray, but haven't had time to watch it yet. I feel like Disney as really lowered the quality of bonus features on recent films. I agree completely on Cinderella needing an audio commentary. It helped save Disney feature animation.

I'll pass. I don't have Blu-Ray and i still have my DVD from the last release. LOL, same here. I belong to the Disney Movie club and they have offered this to me twice now. I still have it from the first release and have no Blu-ray player. Still not sure if I want to upgrade yet.

The movie looks absolutely beautiful in hi-def.
