Do any of you use the codes that come with your DVDs to get Disney movie rewards? Is it a good program? Have you gotten anything with it or do you plan on getting anything with your points?
I have tried several times to sign up for an account but it won't work for me. I'm not sure if it's because I am Canadian or if it's just an error I keep running into.

I think it's a great program. I've only redeemed some of my points once for a couple of nice lithographs from Sleeping Beauty. I have seen DMR make some of the Walt Disney Classics Collection figurines available as prizes for a high (but by no means unobtainable) number of points. The other thing I've noticed is some incredible coupon offers. I have received 3 $10 off coupons from DMR for blu-ray releases such as Toy Story 1 & 2 and Alice In Wonderland (Tim Burton version).

Oh! I didn't know you could get coupons with your DMR! That's awesome. I haven't tried to create an account for a while now. Perhaps I should try again. I have a lot of rewards codes to redeem but haven't bothered to see if they worked now or not. Are there expiry dates when it comes to these codes?

I don't think they have an expiration date. I've never had a problem. This year they also gave me a free blu-ray movie for my birthday. I had to pay shipping and the choices were limited to 5 movies, but I didn't have one of them in blu-ray, so I got Meet the Robinsons for about $3.

Wow, that's another good deal. I'll have to sit today and go through all my DVDs. I'm sure I have at least 8 or 9 movie rewards codes.

I know the codes go at least as far back as The Little Mermaid 2006 DVD release. A current promotion that's running is that if you bought the Toy Story 1 and/or 2 blu-ray, you're eligible to receive a free movie ticket/movie dollars to see Toy Story 3 in theaters. I don't know if it also applies to the regular DVD release of the films or not.
Anyone who is eligible (I don't know what the non-U.S. rules are, but I think Canada is eligible) should sign up if they like Disney. It really doesn't take long to accumulate some points and you also get points if you send in your ticket stub of an eligible Disney movie you saw in theaters.

I've use it too. I really like it. You can points from the DVDs you buy and by sending in movie tickets of Disney films (I think its four a year) for points. They also have a lot of bonus points like scavenger hunts and stuff to promote things which gives you points. I've only redeemed my points once and got some Peter Pan lithographs. There's a lot of stuff to choose from, which is real cool too.

I thought the ticket limit was 4 tickets per movie, but I could be mistaken.

Oh, maybe. I really don't remember. I'm too lazy to bother sending in tickets so I've never payed too much attention.
