Well I braved the hoard of people at the theatre last night and went to see Star Wars III. It was so worth it. Connor and I bought our tickets first at about 7 for the 10:15 show to make sure that we got the tickets. We went for dinner and then went back to the theatre around 9:00. Played some games for a little while seeing as there was no point in standing in line for too long. We finally went and lined up at about 9:30... There were a few people a head of us and we got in line just in time. Turns out there were two viewings at the same time, one in theatre 7 and one in 12. Connor and I had bought tickets for theatre 12. Turns out all the people in front of us went into theatre 7 and we were the first ones in! We got my favourite seats and enjoyed the show. ____________________________________________ I loved the movie. I am actually going to see it again with my dad after it's been out for a while. I'm not going to spoil anything for you guys but I am going to say that you should definately see it. If you haven't seen any of the newer episodes you should definately see at least the second one first. Has anyone else seen it already or plan on seeing it? *is a nerd in disguise*

This past Thursday night (the day of the most awaited May 19th release of the film), I saw Revenge of the Sith in the best theater in the state at seven o'clock. And I'll tell ya, after I left that theater, I can honestly say now that this SW film is one of my favorite films of all time! I'm not going to spoil anything either for those who haven't seen it yet, but all I'm going to say is that whether you're a Star Wars fan or not, this movie will leave you feeling a bit emotional and totally blown away by all of the great battles in it. I can tell ya this... Darth Vader is now my favorite SW character!!! ;D

I think the new War of the Worlds is an improvement from the 1950s version. This one has better acting and advanced special effects, while the other one was so melodramatic and the effects were so bad that you can actually see the strings holding up the models. I know that was the 1950s, but...come on! They had films with better special effects than that. ;D

Maybe they just had a low budget? *shrug*
Special effects might be cool, but they don't "make" a movie, necessarily... At least not as far as the actual story line goes...
