I'll be sharing some of my favorite Disney events and birthdays each day. So, we'll start with today. For January 4: 1785: Jacob Grimm is born. Jacob and his brother Wilhelm published their collections of fairy tales, which inspired some of Disney's greatest films. 1905: Sterling Holloway is born. Holloway provided the voice for Mr. Stork, Flower, Cheshire Cat, Kaa, Roquefort, and Winnie the Pooh. WInnie the Pooh. That was a good show. Do you remember when the skys faucet was on and winnie had to turn it off?

1983: The Disney Channel is officially launched beginning at 7:00 am with "Good Morning Mickey. I remember that show, but I do remember it was a successful channel. They turned into loads of teeny bopper shows and movies. The Disney Channel of today sucks! It was even better when it was back then.
